Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

I would never bench Palmer personally.

However, if you're in need of some last minute confirmation bias then I've just read that since mid-December, Palmer has contributed a goal involvement once every 268 minutes. He is currently out of form.
Wish I would have had the balls to do it but it would’ve been a super agressive move considering all of the guys around me in my ML have him as well, not worth the risk at this point of the season so I can live with it.

Went with Gakpo in the end, hopefully he’ll miss Wolves and doesn’t do too much against Villa if he’s fit again by then.

Same here. With a 100 points lead over my rivals in the ML, it’s all about playing safe and taking unnecessary risk. But will keep an eye on the BGW announcements and how he fits in it

The 8 fixtures of GW29, are they confirmed and final? Or will there be any more postponement from those 8 fixtures? I’m currently set at 9 players and want to build up to a 11 without using FH

Classic Verbruggen, does feck all for weeks then scored like that when I take him out last minute for shitty Flekken because his yellow flag came off.

I wouldn’t be dropping Palmer either. I had thoughts yesterday but surely we all want him in two weeks when he has Southampton and Leicester at home, seems mental not to at least keep him for those two.

Merino could be a bargain to bring in.

Abit of A risk but After the last 10 minutes he’s probably nailed down the striker position for a few weeks

Yep, classic fantasy footy!
Looks like there's 3 nailed choices, then a bench guy gazumps all of them.

Though at least anyone who had Trossy or Nwaneri would have trousered an assist.

I'm glad I didn't bring either in though in the end.

Early goal for Brentford...you know it'd be Mbeumo if you didn't have him.
And Bournie goal. Obviously not Kluivert, it's the striker fella, that now seems the obvious choice.

Ho hum.

Annoying that I benched Wood, but I didn’t have much choice given that I have Foden, Palmer, Salah, Rogers, Gakpo and Watkins

If we're talking terrible decisions, I knew the Digne risks, but still did it.

Saw Ipswich down to 10 and thought this'll work.
Then saw they conceded. Then saw he'd come off before then anyway, off at half time! Oh well. Won't hold out for even a 1 pointer v Pool!

Van den Berg substituted before 60mins? FFS these managers should be shot into the sun. Why couldn't he keep him on for 1 more fecking minute.

Amad out for the season and Isak dropping as Newcastle have gone off the boil is giving me a bit of a headache.

It's not really a headache though is it. One player is guaranteed zero points for the rest of the season and the other is the 5th highest scoring player in the game going through a rough patch of fixtures.

Amad>Mbeumo for me. Lucky to have that extra transfer by not using AM on Emery as well. No more injuries before 29 and I can remove Watkins, Rogers and TAA before they blank as well.

Amad's out?! I took him out but hadn't realised that.
That is so United this season and just makes us an even more non watch for 3months.
Garnacho Bruno Hojlund with just Zirkzee as back up.
Yikes.

Amad, Konsa and Gakpo with injuries, Choudary has been my cheapest possible player option filling the 3rd bench spot as well so I'm truly screwed.

Typically got my AM chip in play so can't even WC my way out of it all

I have Mbeumo, Palmer, Isak, Aina who have all gone meh.... Not sure.

See Palmer for the next three, he has Southampton and Leicester in those, blank in those or little in those and he’s long gone for me. Mbeumo probably stays for the rest of the season. Isak I think boils down to Newcastle having a run of poor form, the issue with him is there’s really not many strikers to replace him with who are either quality strikers or consistent.

Best Bournemouth midfielder to replace Amad with? Not too sold on Kluivert seems to riding off that random hat trick he got a few weeks back.

8, 22, 13, 2 and 5 for Kluivert in his last 5 mate. I’ve got him and have added Outtara as well for the Wolves game. Think they’re all worth a shout alongside Semenyo. Semenyo looks quality every game but let’s himself down with his final product at times.

I'm a sucker for an OOP player so Ouattara has been my pick for some time.

Trouble is every week I go to bring him in something else comes up. Watkins this week.

I could've got him in for Amad but fancy Mbeumo more. Maybe next week for Rogers as I look to cut my 29 bgw players.

So now I have Amad and ndiaye needing to be shifted. With 1 FT.

Wonder if I should just wait for 1FT per week and not take a hit or just take a hit because their prices will plummet.

Also unsure who to sell Amad for. Outtara sticks out but I've got Kluivert and there's a bit of concentration risk there. Think il do it anyway, he seems to be the play

Finally Luis Diaz appears since I doubled up with him and Salah (with Slot AM)

Who are people thinking for the managerial choice for next GW? Just leave it on Slot, even though they have City away?

Good call.... I was definitely feeling Liverpool would win given how all over the show City are.... but those bottom 3 have real opportunities if you really fancy the gamble.
