I'm thinking about bringing Hall in. Newcastle aren't good IMO but they're tough to beat at home and I think they can get some clean sheets, even in big games.

With West Ham, I just don't think Lopetegui will turn it around and I'm expecting them to keep getting bad results.

It's between Hall and Mazraoui for me currently if I'm gonna buy a cheap defender. Or wait for Yoro as I believe he will play week in week out when he returns.

Ended up being a great jinx! Just need Salah to not do as well and Haaland to get something and it will be a good week. What a point swing top from 12 to 28!

Saka also has united next so another reason not to make the switch right away.
 
We got a clean sheet but Maz came off after 55 mins :lol:

Finally a Sanchez clean sheet.

80 points with just Salah (non capped) to go. A nice 1-1 draw with neither he or Haaland doing anything would be sweet.
 
Well today couldn’t have gone any worse, Son blanked, Solanke not in squad and palmer got 2 attacking returns. Son to Palmer will have to happen tonight.

Gabriel Timber Lewis Hall Greaves
Salah Palmer Saka Mbeumo Rogers
Jackson Cunha Wood

1FT, 1.2m ITB

Gabriel (injury doubt) to Gomez, frees up cash for a while too so it wouldn't just be about Gab's injury
Lewis to Gomez, gets me out of City who are disatrous right now, but do have some decent fixtures
Hall to Gomez, just because
Mbeumo to Johnson. Sold Johnson this week (who wouldn't for Saka?) but now I want him back
Mbeumo to Rashford, not the greatest United fixtures, but to steal a march if he's going to continue throught the middle regularly
Mbeumo to Bruno - same with the fixtures, in great form
Wood to Solanke - bit of a punt as you can't exactly rely on Solanke but Wood's games not the best moving forward

Something else? Mbeumo with a ton of potential replacements.

Good team with no obvious weakness apart for Mbeumo, I would get rid. People are worried but loss of value but what good is value if he's stinking out 2 pointers every game. Swapping for Amad might also be a good option.

Maz and Fofana both taken off before the clean sheet points has really fecked me off. Fofana was even on 60 minutes but still doesn't get the points?? feck off.

Agreed, and I think he's got to go soon. There's a couple of saving graces for him. His price drop took 0.1m off my sale value already so I can eat one more before he costs me again. He's got Villa away and that's not too scary at the moment compared to how it looked a few weeks back. If I'm looking at United players it might be better than Arsenal away for us. Waiting would also give us even more info on how nailed Amad is, Rashford up front etc.

Most of my other shouts also have away games. Mitoma, Johnson, Bowen. Gordon with a hard fixture at home to Liverpool.

Mbeumo's xGI is awful though right now. Averaging 0.14 over the past 4 matches.
 
Huge week this GW for most people. Everyone returning - Saka, Palmer, Fernandes, Salah, Gabriel, Wood, Jackson etc.

I'd have taken no Salah points for a Liverpool defeat or draw. But was never going to happen.

This starting line-up from City reminded me of that time we went to City under Fergie, having drawn 4-4 v Everton, then lost 0-1 to Wigan with a criminally defensive lineip, and deservedly lost.

Was just talking about my personal choice mostly. Was always going to be between Palmer and Salah, didn't consider Saka even though I have him too.

Saka the best pick in the end but he didn't really hurt me, not too many were on him. Fair play if you were!


Anyway, Salah off now so not too bad.

Great shout. Would always favour home team players so that's why I wasn't really looking at Saka.

Looks like I actually gained on Salah cappers by a couple of points in choosing Palmer. Thought Salah would have got the 3 bonus points with a goal and assist just like Palmer but nope, it's Gakpo. Happy little gain.
 
on 95 after bonuses, great bounce back after the last dreadful GW. My differentials delivered for me with Vardy, Larsen and Dalot.
