Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

If pool are DGWing 25 too, worth playing the AM chip for slot in 25? I just used TC on mo so using another chip so soon feels a little wrong...

Depends if there's any chance of 5 games over 3 game weeks later on to really max it.

That’s what I am debating right now but they do have City in GW26 and Newcastle in GW27 as it stands

I'm fuming as I made a mistake before I went on holiday thinking the double game week was last week for triple captaining Salah. Ugh.

You can change it, provided you have a transfer or are willing to take a hit. So, as the next poster said ... "That’s what I am debating right now but they do have City in GW26 and Newcastle in GW27 as it stands." You can transfer. So, in 25 you'd get the 'Pool fixtures, in 26 you could change from Slot to Arteta at home vs. West Ham (that's your FT for the week), or you can chase a bonus match. Then in 27 you could have Maresca (Chelsea) v. Southampton at home or Amorim (Man Utd) at home vs Ipswich (that's your FT for the week). You might suffer if you don't have transfers saved up and you'll be taking hits if you want to move players around.

Fair point. Completely forgot you could do that

Yeah, AM'd in 24, and I'll really have decisions to make:

1) If 'Pool win and Arsenal beat Newcastle in the Cup, I could switch to Arteta - and go 3 'Pool in the double (I have 2 'Pool players). I have no Arsenal players. This might be my preference because I could then have 3 'Pool players in the double and then have Arteta to cover all the Arsenal players I don't have. This is the real power of the double/double with AM in my opinion. If I could get VVD/Salah/Gakpo for a 'Pool double and then Arsenal win both games with a clean sheet...
2) If 'Pool win and Arsenal beat Newcastle in the Cup, I could stick with Slot - and start taking hits to bring in Arse/Chelsea players for the double (I prefer above...).
3) If Arsenal beat Newcastle I could also go for Fulham (Silva) or Maresca to chase a bonus. I think Fulham has one. Not going to do it.
4) If Arsenal don't win and 'Pool does ... I could go for Emery next to chase a bonus match (not gonna happen, I'll stick with Slot)
5) If Spurs win and Arsenal win - I'm definitely going Arteta next week.
6) If Spurs win and Arsenal lose - Christ. I'll have to choose between Silva and Postecoglu next week.

This chip can do our heads in.
