Yeah I had too! I didn't know there was a game yesterday so didn't tweak my team since the end of last GW
I knew that Gabriel goal would come at a cost. Good things doing just happen. For me.
Doesn't help that the next GW deadline is Tuesday with Gabriel going off. Not that Arteta gives info anyway. Still, not much time to recover.
Going to make this week's transfer a difficult one to navigate. Got other stuff I want to do eventually. Mbeumo, Lewis, Wood potential outs. If Jackson booked tomorrow he's suspended.

Wrong week for me to transfer Saka out for Salah.
Arsenal pair takes me up to 27 so there's a chance for tomorrow's three to turn the weekend around.

Hope Lewis starts tomorrow. Benched him, but the way their defence is playing I keep thinking he gets sacrificed soon.
Holding out forlorn hope that they could pick up some cleanies when their fixtures start to look decent for their defence in the near future. Forest at home not a bad one on paper midweek. Palace away after that. Everton and Leicester in 18 and 19.

It was related to the previous injury he had in Lisbon. He did great to be a part of that. With that result and the state he is feeling, we decided to take him off.

A barely believable 57 points from 4 players, a lot of which is thanks to Captain Saka.

Tempted to go for odegaard and transfer our Bruno if he doesn’t deliver tonight. Tough games coming up and Arsenal triple up with Timber, odegaard and saka is hard to resist
Just did this after foolishly deciding to take some time making a considered decision. Thereby losing out with Mbeumo dropping value. Anyway, it's done.
How much money have people invested in their defences? I'm not sure how much to allocate. Currently have Gabriel, Lewis and Shite Nouri there. The latter two selections have proven to be a disaster.
Think this would be a popular move as it only takes one transfer, unless you have another 1.5 million lying around Saka is the one to get.
3 transfers made this GW with a view to WC in 14...now I've worked out there's only 3/4 of my regular starters that I'd want to change and even then they aren't priority changes:
GK: Flekken
DEF: Burn, Ait-Nouri, Gabriel
MID: Salah, Palmer, Mbeumo, Saka, (Rogers)
STR: Cunha, Pedro, (Wood)
I could either correct my short term planning error and swap out Mbeumo for Mitoma or Wood for Jackson.
Just doesn't feel like the right time to pull the pin on the WC...I've managed to use my transfers in bunches of 3 so far and as such, it's left me closer to the team I'd want on WC than I'd anticipated way back when, when GW 12-14 was earmarked for it!!
For those who still have WC1, are you thinking pulling it as late as possible and as such, have it for the festive period which will typically throw up some untimely injuries & suspensions?
It always feels somewhat wasted to use it when in a relative position of strength but maybe that's the best time to use it, to get those 3-4 new players in that those without WC would take 3-4 weeks to get in...trouble is outside of the premiums, these players will often change every 3-4 weeks?!
