Fantasy Premier League 20/21

Stones scoring all these goals despite Dias statistically being the more consistent goal threat is such an FPL thing.
 
Work league leader forgot to do his team and accidentally left Stones captain.. his luck knows no bounds this year.
 
Oh ffs. Fernandinho on. What a shocker of a gameweek. Ill be on 27 by the looks of it with only Bruno and Kane as captain to come. A total of 1 point off the bench to replace KDB and Gundo. This game can really bite uou in the ass.

My mate has the opposite luck though.

After weeks of sticking by Cancelo, he took him out and has De Bruyne (c), Mahrez and Gundo.
All three benched. Cancelo probably on for 12, and Stones scores for a haul too.

He had Dias until a couple of weeks back!
 
So at what point is he going to bring on Gundo for the 1 pointer? I’m saying 86 mins.

I'm such a greedy bast, that i was thinking, i wish that had been a Dias goal despite having both :)
 
18 points from Cancelo and Dias, plus 3 from Raphinha coming on for Gundo.

I'm not gonna cry about that when someone just below me in my ml captained KDB and vice captained Gundogan. Eek.

Always the risk with City but we know this by now.

KDB / Gundo captainers got away with murder there unless they Had (c) and (VC) on both.
 
Frustrating that Gundo didn't come on.

Me and rival have him. I got Traore smiling at me from the bench with his 1 point haul. Rival has Coufal so hope he concedes tomorrow.

Annoying as my second and third are Dallas and Struijk.

I swear I never have luck from the bench. This season and last season I never once got more than 2 points from a bench replacement.
 
Points for Stones and Dias, much needed. On 31 now. Need big performance from Kane and Son. Hell wouldn't even begrudge Salah a haul...

They have a second chance to get a captain score yes, but they lose a big potential to haul and have to dip into bench fodder.

I was glad Gundo didn't come on in the end, just to grab a 3 pointer from Raphina.
The madness of fantasy footy, is that earlier I was worried Raph was gonna score as a rival had him!

Equally comedy when a guy i knew was delighted Bamford came off injured, then ended up getting his 1 pointer in :D

I take put Cancello who'd done very little lately. He of course scores

I put in Foden to replace him. He doesn't play but is my vice captain

My captain was Gundogan who doesn't play. Of course I then have no vice captain due to the Pep Guardiola is my idol cheating me out of that too. Thank you so much :mad:

It's so annoying City are scoring so many, so you feel you have to have their players but Pep is the biggest pain in the backside ever you'd be safer without any...

Mate, if you take one thing from this - never captain and vice captain players from the same team.

This season especially has shown us that. Mate of mine captained Kane and VC Son, when their game v Fulham got postponed due to covid. It sucks but just get into the habit of putting the VC on a player from a different team to your C.
 
Sold Cancelo and Rashford before this weekend to get KDB and Rudiger, felt so good about it after the early game. Not so good anymore. My biggest rival also has Cancelo and Stones so he hauled big in that City game where I only got 6 for Dias.
 
Stones is such a rank killer. I had him for 3/4 goals so can't say I had bad luck.

Cancelo has been disappointing overall though since I got him. I had hoped for more hauls from him than from the others.

Don't know why people were getting rid, for his price the risk of rotation isn't a big deal imo. If it's to save a city spot, I can see that angle but with the Pep Guardiola is my idol none of their players are secure to play every week.

Well I brought in Cancelo instead. Sideway move that have backfired.
I was going to bring in Mahrez this week, but thought a hit was not worth it due to Pep.

Trying to predict Pep just feels impossible. I was sure Sterling and Mahrez would start today logically.
Now he changed formation and played with Jesus and Aguero. Noone predicted that I think.

I guess he makes it harder for the opponent to read them as well.
 
On a grand total of 11 points. Pickford injured Bamford injured. Kane in doubt. It's Bruno or nothing. Clearly he will blank.
After leading my ML for 19 GW, I ll probably lose it all in the end
 
26 points from Martinez, Targett, Dias, Bamford and DCL (C).

Not super pleased, but we'll see how today goes.
Auba, Salah, Son, Coufal, Robertson and Antonio coming in to replace Gundogan.

Annoyingly have Dallas and Raphinha on the bench in 2 and 3 sub spots.

I'd love a 3-2 Arsenal win tomorrow, with a hatrick from Auba and a brace from Son.
 
I usually have a slight chuckle at the reactions when ''Pep Roulette'' or the ''Pep Guardiola wheel of fortune'' goes against others but last night he benched KDB (c) and Gundogan. Thankfully Dias played and kept a clean sheet. KDB not playing means Harry Kane is my captain now which may work out pretty well although if Kane doesn't play against Arsenal, I'm screwed.
 
That worked out beautifully for me, have Stones and Cancelo, then I have Gundo but Dallas comes off the bench to replace him and so many people have him and Sterling as captain and vice captain. Excellent
 
Any chance Forster can be injured in the warm up????????

Got Mendy on the bench and don’t want to spend the game hoping he has a blinder, because he won’t.

Wow Bruno ownership is insane now. I should really have him back to avoid mixed feelings.
Problem is I like having Salah to feel a bit better when Liverpool win and he scores.

It would be amazing if we win and he blanks, but just bloody win the game and not destroy my rank Bruno.
 
Hoping Cresswell is out tonight so I can get Dallas 6 pointer off my bench for Gundo, Kane (C), Shaw, Bruno and Son left to play.

Worth going Stones -> Veltman and Gundo -> Saka for GW29 for a total of 9 players (-4 hit)? (Considering I have Dias and I am WCing gw31)
 
Che Adams was in my team literally all season... Didn't do anything for ages and got dropped so I took him out.

After that he's scored 3 goals in 3 games.

I hate FPL.

This is above the average points for the week. No one in my mini league has done much better (except one guy on 45 but most of his team and his Captain played).

We'll get a haul from one of Bruno, Kane or Salah and everyone will end up on like 50 points.
