Fantasy Premier League 20/21

Oh Kane. Wasn’t too bothered by the offside as it was by miles. That free kick was pretty gutting though.

Kane (c), Son, Bale (brought him in for injured Rashford).

Right, need Shaw and Bruno (c) to reverse this "everyone blanking" week

£25 riding on it, high stakes

Well this week quickly turned to shit.

Lost Son now for 29 which is annoying as I've carried 2 transfers so committed to not free hitting.

Think I'll do a -4 and get 8 out. Son > Bale, Mee > Veltman likely and we'll see about the last one. Might hold out for Grealish.

Son injury is a blessing for me. Right pain in the arse to get him back after the WC, and was concerned about all the points I'd lose in the meantime, as it would take weeks.

Will be interesting to see what the verdict is first. If it's just a slight tug, and preventative, he could well just miss 1 game and be fine after the international break.

So they rightly took that assist off Bruno.

9 for Shaw and 6 for Bruno.
Puts me a nervous 14 ahead of a rival in the cup.

One goal, cleany and 3bonus - I win
one goal,one assist no cleany, 3bonus - I win

One goal, one assist, cleany and 3 bonus, or more than that and I'm screwed :wenger:

Well Bruno not scoring and a win was ideal for me. I will have him back for next game unless Son has recovered.

I am still doing badly again and it is the case of my differentials all not working out.

Seems like I am one of the very few who has been setting up to wildcard next week. With all the big hitters being so inconsistent, I was happy to go for it, but now a bit worried may be wildcarding into a load of beach teams. The good thing is that many of the teams playing next week have assets that have offered great value so far this season, so I will likely be keeping Bruno, two City players and Martinez on the bench.

I'm biased but I couldn't see the McTom touch, but i'm not on the clearest picture always.
I suppose a slight skim at best is still a touch though.
I think they can still change it. I can’t see a touch.

From the replays I seen Scott got great contact on the ball. It wasn't just a skim.

Glad my decision to captain Salah this week didn't backfire. Will be huge for me if he hauls

United winning and Bruno getting no points was a great result.

Now I need Liverpool to lose whilst Salah gets a hat trick.

45 all out. Toss.

Need Salah to get injured/go off in the first minute tomorrow.
Same. 14 point lead over a rival who has him captained and me non.

I see Salah's last score above 7 in 8-9 weeks was a 15! Hope that's pure coincidence and he doesn't repeat it.

Wolves scoring a goal means i could absorb another assist on a goal and max bonus. Just that one point!!

Giving it to Mctom was the change unfortunately.

Annoyingly i saw what was obviously a spoof saying they'd reviewed it against the organisers teamand were letting Bruno keep it. Felt like var keep celebrating and then being gutted.

That's bs taking it off captain Bruno, McTominay even suggested he got nothing on it. All on Salah tomorrow, unless Fabio Silva fancies coming off mine and Wolves' bench to do something (don't ask).

Same lucky rival with Stones captain has Dunk second on his bench coming on.

Villa concede in the last minute to cost me clean sheet points for Martinez and Konsa, Bamford and Son go off injured in the first half, KDB and Gundogan don't play while Saka goes off injured meaning he might not be able to go from my bench to the starting 11 next week. What a weekend eh.

Normally I would feel bad for you (or would post a ) but this is pretty much the case for most people.

A lot of people had Gundo and/or KDB, Bamford and Son.

Nearly everyone at this point has Martinez.

It's just a shit show this week.

Son getting injured yesterday is really fecking annoying for my BGW29 plans. At least Bamford is just a dead leg and should be fit for next weekend.

IF Son misses next week but Bamford is fit, I have 7 players plus 2x FTs. So not in an awful position by any means.

Need to be patient and make sure whoever I bring in is fit and should play. Initial thoughts are to bring in Lingard and Auba or Bale... Don't feel confident enough in any of those fixtures to take any hits though!

Am holding a 14 point lead with Salah, versus an opponent with Salah cap.

For some reason the guy running our cup has bonus points as a tie break over goals, so i'm 7-3 up there too.

Basically meaning if Salah scores 1, assists 1, doesn't concede and gets 3 bonus - i can still sneak through.

But anything more than that and I'm screweeed cruelly :wenger:

Wonder how long it will be before they start talking about FPL during games. Like yesterday during our game when the goal was being discussed I half expected someone to go 'and those 3 points have been taken off Fernandes and awarded to McTominay'.

This has been without a doubt my least favourite FPL season. Planning has been impossible and most of the time has backfired due to the crazy schedule.

Definitely been the year of the 'casual'. Picking in the inform player on a Friday is your typical Casual FPL player move but more often than not this season it's worked for them. A guy in my work league probably spends 5 mins a week on his team if that and is flying high at the top a good way clear of me in 2nd place. And I have been playing over 10 years and take it a lot more seriously.

I'm looking forward to football (and therefore FPL) being a bit more back to normal next season.
