If Havertz showed any sort of magic playing as the striker today, he'd be a very interesting option ahead of their run of games.

However, he didn't, and he's too costly for a punt.

That FH beauty is that you can make the latest decision and weed out any niggles/doubts late on, and review the Europa fall out too in terms of Tottenham.

You just know those who have tried to plan to have 7-8 will have a player or two drop out and wreck things.
I'd have been one of them, with Dier and Grealish!

Yeah. Might consider dropping Watkins as well. Villa looked absolutely tumescent shite going forward.

Well Bale or Auba in for next week is obvious. Salah to Auba or uppgrade Mount to Bale feels like the easiest moves I can make.
I could get both for an additional hit to give me 11 starters.

I should have just gone for Bale straight away maybe for a hit, but 3 Spurs players did feel too much vs Arsenal.

4 points for one extra game feels worth the risk, but neither fixture feel obvious for attacking returns.
 
Bamford out is great for me (if he is). Loads in my mini league have him and I would've probably brought him in.

At the moment sitting on Areola (Martinez), Cresswell, Son, Raphinha, Kane, Watkins plus 2 free transfers.

I'll add Veltman for Mee so I can have a cheap playing defender mostly perma benched after next week and I can pretty much bring in anyone depending on who I want to lose. I'll probably bring in Grealish, Lingard or Bale for Gundogan.

Then it's just a question of whether I want to take a hit to go for 9 players by taking out DCL for Antonio. If Everton and Villa dgw is announced for 30 it might not be worth it but then maybe I'd want Richarlison in that week instead.

I'm guessing one the Spurs players will be highest capped that week so am not too worried about falling behind either.

Looks crap, Grealish out, AND Tottenham, who are tight-ish.
Not a great combo.

And their games don't look great after that.

You describe well the problem of not having a FH.

You either have to take out some of the big hitters you will probably want to keep going forward, or if Everton v Villa is placed in week 30 as it well could be, that influences the need to keep their players in there.

If Peps ever invited to do a talk to FPL players, he should decline.. he might get lynched

One of the reasons that I'm probably going to drop a City player, especially if they keep so far ahead. He'll keep rotating and focus on CL.
 
Even though DCL got his goal he should have scored a few more. Very wasteful.

Was gutted Richarlison was a bust, but no Sterling at all is superb, and hopefully De Bruyne stays off.
Need a 0-0 here, or a Dias goal if they have to win.
 
Considering the opposition, I feel like 1 return each for Watkins and DCL isn’t too bad for non owners. Nothing for Digne either.
 
I need Gundo to come on at some point. Even if it's last minute. Knowing pep, that won't happen.
 
Checked a pal's team. De Bruyne (captain), Mahrez and Gundo.

Magnificient.
Hope they keep a cleanie, and De Bruyne comes on about 83 mins for a 1 pointer :lol:
 
Think quite a few put the armband on KDB too, let's hope he comes on for a few minutes.

No Sterling even in the party is a shocker too.
I thought Richarlison bombing had wrecked my cup battle, but as a rival will get Bamford's 1 in, instead of a possible Sterling haul, I still have the slightest of chances.
Need something major from Dias though. A 2 goal Stones-esque haul would do!

Also Kane is yellow. Now what's wrong with him?! Can't not have him when he's there but he seems to constantly be getting injured!

Kane got a tiny knock on Europa. He'll play.
 
I wanted to have my West Ham boys on the bench so I don't get mixed feeling when we smash them tomorrow, but now they might come on due to Pep.

It is a bit sad that a 1-0 win for West Ham with Antonio goal might be the ideal thing for my fantasy rank and team.

Shaw will soon be in my team and Bruno back with Salah out once we get better fixtures.
 
Ah feck didn't realise Gundo was benched too :lol: I've got Dias and Stones so relatively happy.
