Fantasy Football 2017/18

Very rounded, like it. Few risks there though, including Coutinho, no?
Could work out well.
I was taken by the 8.8 price, must be good value if its dropping down to his injury. After the City and midweek game I don't think Klopp can risk not starting him and Liverpools run of fixtures look very favourable, Mane out etc. Just hope Fellaini and Ox start too, the latter being unlikely i think and Rashford is usually substituted. He didn't start in the week though and always looks dangerous so im hoping he picks up a few points. My Watford back ups i am pleased with. They have a run of difficult games but under Silva they are very solid, and having seen Femenia a couple of times now he looks a great talent bombing down the wing back role. I expect him to pick up a few points if he can stay fit and 4.5 is good value for that too. Chalobah plays a reasonably attacking role aswell, abit like Capoue last season for them.

Went with a fresh start using my first wildcard. Gambling on Fellaini and Chamberlain but both extremely cheap for the potential points.
That's what I call punts. Nice team, though I'm a bit unsure about double Citeh defence... Went with Mendy myself.

Also wildcarded and after all opted to go Kakuless. Big Rom, have mercy and allow Mkhi to score all.

Haha not another spanner in the works to think about. It's really nice having a United player that you can count on for a change though. I'm so stuck with what to do here.

Edit: Just realised there's a Friday game! No choice now anyway. Just happy I can stop thinking about it

This sort of little detail separates the hard core from the casuals! Hope half the peeps in my work league missed it

Leaving a Liverpool defender facing Burnley at home on the bench? Would you not split the Man City risk?

Well, I wasn't even sure he would start to be honest. Mendy im hoping nicks an assist and im struggling to see Watford scoring. Ill probably swap Otamendi out at some point, especially as he's not a fullback but there wasn't many great options and with City's run of fixtures i can see a fair few clean sheets.

Tbh I was thinking there might be this week, but left it anyway. I was happy with my team but constantly deliberating.
In my main league with mates, one has been in China with work and another has been celebrating their birthday the last few days, so they've left Pogba in. Suckers.

Agggghhhhhh didnt click that the team needed to be done tonight, ended up with Mane and Pogba in and no transfers. Ffs.

Bad start. 2 players, 3 points. :( Brighton vs Bournemouth was supposed to be 0-0 damn it!

Could do with Southampton conceding, ideally for a RLC goal!
Plus Redmond doing something.

Draft WC team, thoughts?

Foster (Elliot)

Naughton Jones Cedric (Gomez Hegazi)

Mkhi Eriksen DeBruyne Ritchie (Carroll)

Morata Firmino Jesus

This team would of been having a good GW so far.

In the end I dropped Yoshida for Liverpools Gomez which had cost me 8 points.

Luckily I've still got Atsu, Jesus and Salah in the team.

I am planning to get 8 points hit to transfer out Richarlison, Chicharito and Gabbiadini. Don't know who to get in for that money. I want one of Morata, Aguero or Jesus (thought about Morata but this game conviced me I should go for Aguero). Alternative is to wait another week and do 4 subs for - 8. My team:

Foster
Jones - Cedric - Trippier
Alli - David Silva - Mkhitaryan - Hazard - Richarlison
Lukaku - Chicharito

Subs: Elliot, Gabbiadini, Schindler, Mbemba

Any suggestions?

It came off for you! Goal too!

Meanwhile, Yoshida was back in the lineup, and got a clean sheet. While i'd taken him out for a hit, to bring in Davies, who obviously is benched.
That's dem breaks!

Im devestated with myself for missing it! Ive got mane and pogba in, and can now never call myself hardcore! At least Silva amd Ritchie propped up the midfield a little!

Gotta give yourself the best chance of success! Although, often just leaving it alone works better!
Well, not with 2 mid power houses out!

City is a tough one to call now. Aguero looks to have regained his essential status of other years, when Jesus had looked to be a better choice.

But Kane or Lukaku, they seem essential too.

Need Lukaku to smash a haul to remind us he doesn't just nick singles.

Have Kane cap this week though. But i'd be happy for them not to win. So i'm torn!

Terrible would be an understatement for me. 33 points with Dave, Lukaku and Luiz left to play

This gw is a nightmare. 29 pts with just Lukaku (not captain), Mkhi, and Jones to play.

It's frustrating. Took a -4 hit to get in Kane and Alli and this is what they serve me after being amongst the goals all through the week. And I left Naughton on the bench too.

42 with Lukaku and Mkhi still to play though.

Get out. I had 19 points last week. That is terrible. Not this.
This is excluding the -4 I took to get in Kane! So thats 29 points I'm getting. Aguero on the other hand on his own has managed 20 points(?)

33 with Lukaku (c), Mkhitaryan, Jones and Hazard to play. Not good but not to bad. Silva will also get 2 bonus points. Usual suspects let me down again (Richarlison and Chicharito) and also Alli.

The thing about Aguero is that not many people have him in their teams... That wil probably change in coming weeks...

The thing with Aguero is that he may sit out a few game's due to Pep's tinkering and he is due for his seasonal injuries and red cards as well so irrespective of the form, the risk factor is a bit high

Quick question: Morata+Vardy (or Firminho but I preger Vardy) vs Alli+Chicharito?

Ffs. I'm *sure* I saved my team with Lukaku as Captain. Instead, I find Eriksen has been set to captain. That's fecking irritating.

On the plus side, I've got 44 points so far with Luk and Jones to play. Atsu, Gross and Saints defenders doing well for me.

Finally! One good week and I'm top of work league. Luckily no one has Aguero and went with captaining Kane!

Feck it.. just sold Firmino for Aguero

I now have a Kane/Morata/Kun front line.

My midfield is terrible.

Spurs are shite like. Kane's shite. Chicharito is shite. feck off ff

Bad week. Chicharito has not lived up to the hype I had with him. Took a gamble with Redmond aswell and I just realized how shite he is. Moreover, Davis not starting today was the icing on a bad week. Need lukaku to score a hat trick to save my week.

At least, I don't have Kane

Only Aguero can do that. I still remember making him triple captain two years back and he scored five goals against Newcastle. I mostly play this game for that feeling of hitting the jackpot.

Three forwards over 10 is the way to go this season. Midfield on the other hand has some nice budget options, so you can get away with a 'terrible' midfield.

 Next week: West Ham vs Spurs. Keep both.
