Who do people think will score more points out of Lukaku or Kane?

I am tempted to go for a front three of Kane/Morata/Firmino - picking the right three up top is hugely important this year. I played around with Kane/Lukaku/Morata but the midfield is really poor.

feck I made my transfer and pigba is now probably out of the next game. Do I cost myself 4 points plus value loss to replace him?
I am doing the same. Taking a -4 hit because my bench is really poor. Unfortunately, I can't find a player who is nailed on to get points next week to overcome the -4 hit.

Nice overall ranking - good job. Eriksen has been so much more productive than Alli this year.

Of your options personally I quite like #2. If going for #3 I would be tempted to pick Salah over Coutinho as I suspect he will continue to play more advanced and it's unclear how Coutinho will return to the side performance wise.
Aye, cheers.
Yeah just thinking(maybe over thinking) Liverpool here. Firmino is very highly owned and that's what I like less than Vardy, while Coutinho over Salah is purely a price option, with Coutinho on 8.8 seems like a bargain atm. But I don't know how they'll handle the CL extra games, and Klopp will definitely rotate a bit, too many question marks for me I reckon.
Think I'll go for #1 eventually, Leicester's next 7 fixtures are against 5 "easy" teams, and the two harder ones are at home to Liverpool and Everton, surely Vardy could score in either.

Appreciate the comment

I'm still a bit concerned about the Wembley thing for Kane. For 2 mil less you could pick up a Jesus, 1 mil less Lukaku.

Kane's run at September has to lead to big scores, at 12.4 I'd say it's a great time to pick him up and I'm going forward terrified not having him

Tempted to put Fella in of Pogba, think he has another few goals in him in the coming weeks but he's not definite to start either. Anyone else risking going for it?

ffs. So we're gonna have to take a hit on Pogba. Or do we think he'll come back down to that price when it's time to rebuy?

Tough decision who to captain this week too. Can see Lukaku having a blank, but could also imagine a hattrick
and Kane's found his boots, but with a fair bit of luck so far

Worth getting a -8 to get Kane in or do WC and get him in. I don't think I'll go in this weekend without Kane. Current front 3 is Kaku-Morata-Firmino, so can stay with that as well.

Losing Kaku on the WC feels crazy, but Lukaku + Tammy Abraham costs exactly the same as Firmino + Vardy, the latter has amazing fixtures... What would you do? Keeping Mkhi for United cover anyway.

A very poor start to the season, the injury to Pogba and the lack of Harry Kane have got me considering using my WC. I quite like the look of this team though:

Any thoughts / suggestions?

I've been toying around with a similar approach for a top heavy front 3 but I can't find the right balance yet. @DanNistelrooy and @Samid are usually on the money with their calls so I would ask for their input....

IMO if you want to go top heavy then the third striker has to be Firmino/Vardy. Having 3 strikers costing 10+m shatters the whole team balance.

Kane - Morata/Lukaku/Jesus - Firmino/Vardy leaves you with a lot of money for defence/midfield.

I took a -8. Had transferred Mane out on the weekend so that took care of my only free transfer.

Then Pogba got injured so I had to do a -4 anyway since the bench is shit. In the end, I resorted to picking Kane and Gross after taking a -8 hit. Kane remains the captain though. They play against Swansea at home and Kane is back in form apparently.

The midfield is poor, tbh. Carroll won't get more than 2 points/week while Ritchie and Choupo-Moting can go either way. Same with Moreno. Rotational player, and considering he played midweek, I expect Robertson to start on the weekend. Leicester and Newcastle defences are flimsy at best.

I agree, I just moved to a front three of Lukaku-Jesus-Vardy. Leaves me money for one big hitter in defence and two in midfield.

Who do you think i should go for out of these 4; morata, jesus, de brunye or salah?

Just played my wildcard, currently 95th in the league so a steady start, swapped lakaku for kane asdc main striker, s going to go with kane and lakaku but decided to take hazard and KDB in midfield with kane and firmino as main strikers

Still really struggling to decide on whether Lukaku/Chicharito/Kane, or Lukuku/Jesus/Firmino is better. Today is my last chance to decide

Same here, only I'm considering dropping Lukaku. Kane is a must have imo.
For now it's Kane/Lukaku/Mounie, but I want to change it to Kane/Jesus/Firmino over the next few weeks.

Forster
Cedric-Davies-Mendy-Gamez
Eriksen-Mhki-LoftusCheek
Morata-Lukaku-Kane

Trying to squeeze the big three in

Could potentially chop one for Jesus but I cant bring myself to do it.

Think i am gonna go with Fellaini and The Ox in my starting 11? Both due a run of games? 4.9m for Fellaini is a steal if he plays as he tends to get forward alot.

I have also opted for Rashford? Instead of Firminio. This allows me to have Coutinho in midfield, is he going to start now too?? So many options :wenger:

Draft WC team, thoughts?

Foster (Elliot)

Naughton Jones Cedric (Gomez Hegazi)

Mkhi Eriksen DeBruyne Ritchie (Carroll)

Morata Firmino Jesus
Nice team considering there is no Lukaku or Kane. I feel like you should have at least one!

My WC team is settled;

Foster (Elliot)

Alonso Davies Cedric (Gomez Hegazi)

Silva Eriksen Ritchie Cork (Carroll)

Firmino Lukaku Kane

I don't want to play my wildcard and already made a few subs to get Yoshida/Pogba out of the team so I'm going to have to stick Richarlinson in midfield. Hoping Watford do one over City (you've gotta believe).

Who are you putting in for Pogba..?
I'm tempted by a couple of cheaper players, but i just worry than I won't be able to afford Pogba when he is fit to return..

His price has already dropped last night and is set to drop again in a few days. He will costs 8.0 when he returns from injury.

Played my wildcard this week.

Forster (Elliot)

Pieters Cedric Daniels (Gamez) (Rosenior)

Choupo-Moting Mkhitaryan De Bruyne Doucouré (Carroll)

Morata Kane Lukaku

My team is quite similar to you guys, except I have a third mid-range mid (7mil) instead of a high-rated defender. Will see which approach works better over the next two weeks.

Pogba out to Eriksen.

And for a hit, Yoshida to Ben Davies.

Going big on Tottenham (Kane cap), as they're ramping into form and have some cracking fixtures.

Don't need many more chances to get Davies in, with 2x14 pointers in 4 game weeks!

Haha not another spanner in the works to think about. It's really nice having a United player that you can count on for a change though. I'm so stuck with what to do here.

Edit: Just realised there's a Friday game! No choice now anyway. Just happy I can stop thinking about it

Went with a fresh start using my first wildcard. Gambling on Fellaini and Chamberlain but both extremely cheap for the potential points.

Very rounded, like it. Few risks there though, including Coutinho, no?
Could work out well.
