Fabregas

Not only would I like Fabregas for United but I'd really like him just for Moyes sake. Would be a confident boost to the squad but especially to the new gaffer.

I dont expect such condescending nature from you of all people to be honest it is as disappointing as this Fabregas saga. So either add something useful like,

"Bid more money for him, lolz"

Or just leave me alone, use ignore if you have to.

I was joking you cnut!

Ah ok.. I'm taking its heard at least once every 5 mins?

That would probably be about right, for example the other day one of the lads in the office brought some documentation that we needed out to the warehouse to which my supervisor yelled out in a cheery tone, "There ya are now ya useless cnuts!"

It gets used a lot.

Liking the sound of this.

@barcastuff: Xavi: "Cesc rumours? It's speculation, he's calm. He's training hard, he's very motivated. He has a contract and is important for the team."

It does seem the sort of vague statement colleagues come out with before a player is leaving just to drive up the price.

This Fabregas saga is bloody withersome now....we navigate transfers like old people feck. It has the feel of another hopeful punt, rather than actually truly wanting the player.

Just ask them what they fecking want!! If it's £40 million pay the bastards, if it's £50 million pay the bastards or say no thats a bit steep. Why it takes a fecking week to add 5 million to a rejected offer is beyond me.

If we truly mean business smash the fecking transfer record.....not dribble over it. Woodward and co are hardly acting decisively in the wake of Ferguson's departure. Moyes must be getting twitchy the poor bastard.

I have just been send this.

Alistair Fergusson (Editor for FA Premier League channel, Sky Sports, ITV and C4) has tweeted this ->
Maybe United has been told by Cesc's agent that he wants to leave and is not valued at Barca. United will give him assurance of building their midfield around him and will offer him wage of 200,000 per week. He
also tweeted that United will look fairly stupid if they fail in this bid but they are confident that they won't.

Bid will be submitted later today or by tomorrow. Watch this
space.

The only reason we'd end up looking remotely 'stupid' is if we drag this on long enough to the point where we fail with no time remaining to move on to other targets.

So you don't believe that Fabregas's team were involved in any of this?

I think Utd made it public to sort of 'push' the issue and unsettle the player a bit (nothing wrong with that). However, I hardly believe that Fabregas or his agent wanted to give the impression that he'd like to leave Barcelona or he's unhappy there. If the he's sold then it would be Barcelona making a statement that they accepted the bid from Man Utd and in so doing, he would be free from any blame from Barcelona fans or his teammates.

The Anderson stuff is getting really boring now.

Yeah, I reckon the club should just pay Barca the £35m they want and get rid of Anderson for that. Then we can focus on Fabregas again.

Does Cesc really need assurances about building the midfield around him?

This will reassure Cesc. He was probably having nightmares about Anderson being picked ahead of him.

Can everyone stop laughing at that post, if Cina gets anymore 'somebody quoted you' alerts he's going to think he's really popular.

So, in summary, you don't believe that dirty Dein had anything to do with the leaks? If that is the case then Manchester Utd's persistence and even the potential third bid, is purely "wing and a prayer". I think I can safely say that this is the first time in our history.

I simply don't believe it.

Fabregas has allowed himself total deniability, which is fair enough, but I would suggest that he is keen to come and his agent has been pulling out the stops to make it happen.
