I offered bets on this before, no-one took me up on it.
I think Fabregas is more likely to stay than Nasri, mainly because I can't see Barca coming up with the cash. If that is the case then I think Fabregas needs to forget about Barca and consider other options.
I think he will join Barcelona in the next two-three weeks mate. It was decent for him to stay at your club for one more year, the previous year but I don't think he is gonna stay this season. Think you'll sell him for around 40Mil Pounds.
But Barcelona aren't offering above £30m at this point in time - that's why I can't see him leaving right now, because the difference is too large. This isn't a case of quibbling over 2 million, £10m is 25% of his total value.
Unless they sell a player, I can't see how they can match Arsenal's valuation. Was one of the reasons why I saw reason in selling Thiago.

Not really, he has quite a lot of time left on his contract and is a key player for Arsenal. You'd rather have a top player like Fabregas who's a bit unhappy at having to wait before moving to Barcelona than accept a joke fee and buy a much inferior player with the proceeds.
I'd take £40m in our bank account tomorrow, with various add ons which could make it around £45-50m in total.

In a market that values Andy Carroll at £35m, Milner at £24m and Coentrao somewhere around £30m I'd have Fabregas at £45m-ish.
He'll be gone in this window and Barca won't pay a penny over £35m in my opinion.
He's not 'done them a favour', he's fulfilled the terms of his contract and been rewarded handsomely for it after he tried to leave. If Barca up their bid to a level that Arsenal are happy with, then obviously he'll leave. If I was to stick my neck out I'd agree that he'll be a Barca player next season an they'll up their bid, but it's far from being a certainty.

We hold all the cards here - long term contract, a player who isn't desperate to leave right now, and an absolutely excellent player who is still young. Barcelona have to stump up whatever we want for him.

I think you could be right (though I think it will be slightly higher) but I think they're getting a good price for a great player if so.

Fabregas is clearly one of the best midfielders in the world. Possibly the best who currently isn't playing for Barcelona. I'm not sure how anyone can say playing with Denilson and Diaby is making him look good.

Fabregas is absolutley brilliant, in the WC Spain noticably inproved every time he came on as a sub. On the other hand saying he isn't desperate to leave is delusional.

He is just like Kaka. Everybody was going on and on about him, until those idiots in Madrid bought him and saw by themselves how much he is really worth. Same thing here. Fabregas developped a reputation 3 years ago, and since then he spent more time on the bench than on the field. However he is still the face of Arsenal.. Why?? Because no other player is good and consistent enough to steal that from him. And I thoroughly believe that if Modric move to Arsenal he'll very easily be their star instead of Arsenals' AND Spain's bench regular.

By the way, you got me totally wrong. I meant Fabregas looks good because when you compare him to Diaby and Denilson he got to be the star of the team. I'm not sure though he will be the star if he joins United, Chelsea, or even Shtty, because many players are better than him in those teams.

Your earlier argument about Kaka doesn't really work as he had started to decline due to injuries before even leaving Milan. And as for Fabregas doing nothing for 3 years, then there is simply no point arguing about that, if you honestly think that then I really have no idea what i can say to you
