Is this the different marzio who's word on transfers is gold? My first transfer window on the café.

I doubted him for a little this window when he said we were prioritising Morata over Griezmann.

He was proven right again. Bloke knows his stuff

Yeahhhhh bitches, guess this is happening finally

Hours before Di Marzio said we bid for him
This could be happening

Edit: Bascially says Fabinho in negotiations with United

Fabinho, Morata and Lindolf would be three really good signings in my opinion.
Enough to solve our goalscoring woes though? Mourinho himself repeated over and over again how we basically have crap finishers all over the front line.

----------Fabinho
----Herrera ----Pogba

Should be a decent midfield that.

Aye this. We need an attacking winger too imo. Robbenesque

Well, a DM capable of scoring goals and a striker with a high RoR is a good start. I do agree we'd still be missing one part of the puzzle though.

There will be a surprise still on top I think, someone like Bale

really, really excited about this guy. However, the last time I was as excited for a non-Pogba CM was Schneiderlin. Really thought he was the missing piece.

Let's hope this guy is a bit more useful.

We'll control the midfield like his midfield with Essien/Lampard/wotshisnameagain lineup during his first Chelsea stint. I still remember how they always overran our midfield, how in a game at Ot we were one nil up but their midfield basically destroyed us in the second half and we held on for a draw just barely.

Tbh Schneiderlin looked great at Southampton but he was never tested at a high level he crumbled under the pressure.

Fabinho though has done it at a higher level, I'm sure he will be fine.

Most of them were penalties, but well we'll have a good penalty takers anyway! The only bad thing is that we don't even get pens, though.

All three of them are signings I'm happy with but we still need a winger. Our wing play has been our main problem for 3-4 years now and unless we get a quality player who can provide quality from out wide I don't see us challenging for the title.

Premature question but is him being looked at as a central midfielder the obvious position? From what I know he can operate very well on the right too.

People forget that Pogba will also now have more freedom going forward if we finalise this deal, should add a signifact amount of goals especially if he can stop hitting bars.

Oh cheer up @Raoul we were all young once. Remember your "yesshh let's go all out on Djibril Cisse the new phenomenon" thread 15 years ago in 2002? Let the new generation and me who never grew up have our fun.

jose thinks Valencia is the best right back in the world, so doubt it is to replace him

That's my take on it as well; happy with the three signings (should they happen) but we would still need more. I don't think Perisic is the right player though.

I'm starting to think that Mbappe signing for Real will lead to them getting rid of Bale though and if that happens we'd move for him instead no doubt.
