more and more "known sources" getting on the Fabinho bandwagon. Hope the naysayers will be happier.

I don't agree with that whole post, but tbf to him, he's right in saying that Fabinho is a very different type of CDM to Carrick. Carrick is more of a deeplying playmaker, while Fabinho is more of a midfield destroyer. You've clearly never seen him play once have you

Fabinho is not a destroyer. A destroyer will be someone like Kante with immense work rate, covers a lot of ground and makea plenty of tackles. Fabinho is in between in that he does make more tackles than a DLP, but is not a destroyer as he has the composure and intelligence one would associate with a DLP. His passing range is also very underrated - it may not be as expansive as Pirlo or Carrick, but definitely better than someone like Kante, Schneiderlin etc. So, no, he is not a destroyer - more like a hybrid. A more mobile Matic if you will.
Having Morata, Belotti and Rashford for one position would be just crazy, though.I think, judging on the transfer rumours, that Mourinho is building a team for Pogba to become the absolute star of the show. Nearly everyone in this lineup is industrious and it will give Pogba the freedom to play his natural game and I suspect become (post Messi and Ronny) the most marketable player in the world. The Glazers aren't stupid either, this is probably a strategy influenced by marketing ROI:
---------------Morrata------------------
----------------Belotti-------------------
--------------Rashford------------------
Perisic------------------------------Miktahryan
Martial------------------------------Linguard
-----------Pogba------Herrera---------
------------Mata------Fellaini----------
------------------------------------------
----------------Fabinho------------------
---------------- Carrick-------------------
It's also looks balanced and with good strength in depth.
It wouldn't surprise me to also see two pacey fullbacks coming in for extra depth on either flank too
Everything.What's good about him?

Ok yeah I'd agree with that. However, I'd say Fabinho's passing range is similar to Kante's and Schneiderlin's though and no where near that of Pirlo or Carrick's. But, what I was saying was that Fabinho is more Keane than Scholes.Kante is a destroyer, Fabinho is nothing like that
Robson isn't really reliably after all but if we aren't going for him then what will be our midfield option ? Nainggolan ?
I'd prefer Pereira in there instead of Fellaini and Belotti wont be signed if we get Morata. We dont spend 150m on two strikers with Rashford hoping to get games as wellI think, judging on the transfer rumours, that Mourinho is building a team for Pogba to become the absolute star of the show. Hope not. He's not very bad but he's at the bottom of my choices for a midfielder. There are better options than him.
Lets hope we miss out on Matic and Dier and move for Fabinho then.
It's obvious we're waiting till Chelsea tie up Bakayoko and then we get Matic. Don't know where these Fabinho rumours came from.
This. Who the feck trust's the MEN, as credible as the metro they days. The real reliable links for us are abroad.Well well, not the first time English journos have said we are not interested in so-and-so. I still trust di marzio more than them.
This is a strange one, I don't want Matic or Dier here but even if I did I don't see any reason either Spurs or Chelsea would do business with us.
Chelsea will get Bakayogo, Matic will want out, Chelsea sell to us and still manage to get a very good deal at £40m, Mourinho gets a player he likes and knows well but will have little long term value for United. I'd say this transfer is happening.
