Fabinho rumours are getting strong

So far we have Pilib de Brun saying United are in talks and Mike Keegan (formally MEN now of the Daily Mail) saying there's no interest at all from United. That's it. Nothing else for a month now.

Mail also said we are in for him in an article they published this evening

Keegan didn't say there was no interest, he said he was told there's no interest. You need to read between the lines on these things. The club would never confirm a transfer was happening or that discussions were in place, it could jeopardise the deal and piss off the selling club.

 Come on.

 Come on what? Eileen?

A denial from the club means nothing. It's neither happening nor not happening. It's Schrodinger's transfer.

We don't know where Keegan got his info from.

The current state of things re Fabinho to United is de Brun saying 'talks held' vs Keegan saying 'no interest'. Neither have a great deal of credibility. Aside from them it's just a collection of losers tweeting fabricated drivel from their bedrooms. Nobody worth listening to is currently suggesting we're in for him; best to wait until they do.

Keegan called the Lindelof transfer right though, sounds like he might have some inside United source.

The Portuguese press where the ones who called it all. Keegan just went along with what they said. Nobody in England gets insider info apart from castles right now, we shall see.

I know the Portuguese press have been talking about it for ages but I seem to recall that Keegan said it was done and then later that day it was announced.

He didn't, he wrote: "Lindelof is currently on international duty with Sweden and his move to Manchester may well be completed next week." that was on the morning of the transfer announcement.

This guy probably called it earliest, but he was just mentioning what the Portuguese papers were saying - who were actually right for once.

Mike keegan works for the same paper, spo two journos of same paper saying polar opposite things.

Bcp journalist agree with my information. fabinho is close to manutd for 50 million euros.

That's the guy who called the silva transfer to city, no?

Duncan Castles called it before Keegan did. Keegan fully well knows Castles at times is a Jose mouthpiece. Could have been Keegan seeing the writing on the wall with Castles reporting it.

In fact if we are looking it at through the Lindelof prism then I think Castles not reporting that United isn't interested in Fabinho is more telling than Keegan being "told" there is nothing.

Ah right. This being a journalist is not that difficult is it? Wait till the trusted ones tweet something (Di Marzio, Amoyal, Castles, etc), wait a bit and then paraphrase what they just said with your own spin on it.

Keegan is the only one that's reported he's been told there's no interest. Ducker, Ogden, Ladyman and Stone have been quiet.

lol.

I don't think Castles knows anything about transfer stuff. He sucks up to Mourinho and if there are things that Mourinho actually wants released he'll probably go through Castles, but I doubt it's any more than that. So he wouldn't really know who we're after or what stage the negotiations are at, unless we actually want information out publicly.

See all this smell of burning and there is no smoke not to even think about fire yet. But...

Look at this.

Who the hell is promoting this story, its 4.8 out of 5 to be done.

Without any statement or proof of anything from any of the 3 parties. Mental stuff

If Castles had any info regarding Fabinho or any other player we were targeting he would immediately share the info.

Not so sure. If he does have inside information or a link to mourinho for instance, he'd obviously "toe the party line" and only divulge when he's asked to divulge, for fear of closing that leaking tap in future.

That's obviously assuming he does have a credible source - which I think he's probably proven he does over the past season iirc.
