Jose sign him up
Is it actually true that he said he wants to play as a left back and doesnt really see himself as a midfielder? Because if so, that would be the issue. There may be opportunities here covering for Valencia, and maybe even taking over in time, but principally what we are looking for now is a DM, and if Mourinho was up front about that it might make him less inclined to come.
He liked WillianSo it's true, Jose doesnt like Brazilians
Joking
There was once a stupid rumor that Jose doesn't like Brazilian players and was the reason why he loaned Pereira outHe liked Willian
White txt got me.

Fair enough, I won't get excited just yet then. There is nothing on any player, its just news about still big things to come this summer. Think the term used was Imminent news at MUFC. The insinuation was, more news to come soon and not Lukaku. Even Collymore was at it. I think its the 4th piece i seen first was ESPN last night.
Who said it was ever alive? My guess is this one is dead because if we wanted him, we'd have him by now.
Can see Jose predominantly using 4231 next year so you have pogs, herrera, felaini and perrera fighting it out with Axel backup. Can see the dm being our marquee signing next summer!
No10 and a winger is what's needed and will be priority I think.
So fabinho rumours are fading, chelsea won't sell us matic now. Herrera CDM
Wouldn't mind that, as long as we got in a proper CM to play alongside Pogba.
Maybe all these DM we are linked with are a smokescreen for Oriol Romeu?
Just like Lukaku he has worked with him before and has improved a lot.
How good is he? I never really watched him properlyMaybe all these DM we are linked with are a smokescreen for Oriol Romeu?

They can buy players, they just can't register them to play for 6 months. So we cant buy Greizmann because Athletico are not allowed to transfer any players, but they can buy Fabinho? Confused :/
But, but...Di Marzio! And lockhurst!
Although hasn't Fabinho been quoted saying he'd love to play for United some day?Yea the whole "WHO WOULD BELIEVE LOCKHURST OVER DI MARZIO! DI MARZIO IS NEVER WRONG" thing all went a bit quiet
James, a player United never wanted despite constant media reports linking him to us just signed for another club, suspect Fabinho will do the same very soon
Even so, we need another defensive midfielder, that's clear. Shouldn't have to rely on Fellaini or Carrick for dirty defensive work, when Herrera can't play.My guess is this one is dead because if we wanted him, we'd have him by now.

It would be good to improve it, but certainly not a priority, at least until Mkhitaryan fails for sure and Mata drops his performances. Lingard is an option there too in certain games. And half the time we play 4-3-3. We have priorities in a winger, a defensive midfielder, a striker (poacher), and even fullback before that.If n10 is indeed a priority I don't know why we haven't been involved in the James or Bernardo transfers. Seriously don't know who we would sign as a n10 at this moment.
He is indeed the right player, and no one understands why we aren't getting him, unless we are looking for a cheaper more attacking experienced option in Matić or an English young player in Dier.I don't think Fabinho is the right player for us at this time. I'd rather have Matic. Hardly glamorous I know. But I think Mourinho would rather have him too, he's pragmatic like that. If not, I'd take Dier long before I looked at this guy.
You're certain of that are you? Sounds like you are. No transfer comes with a guarantee of success, but some have a better chance than others. If you think a 23 year old Brazilian who has only played for second rate teams is the man to come in and dominate a premier league midfield, then you and I would make very different managers. He is indeed the right player, and no one understands why we aren't getting him, unless we are looking for a cheaper more attacking experienced option in Matić or an English young player in Dier.
You consider a second rate team the winners of the French league ahead of PSG and Champions League semi-finalists? (And, by the way, I very much doubt he's 23, and that might be the issue here.) And I'm not expecting him to dominate, just to make a better job than most of our defensive midfielders, including Herrera in some games. You're certain of that are you? Sounds like you are. Yes I absolutely, 100%, consider Monaco a second rate team. It's not difficult to check Fabinhos age, but it's not the big issue in isolation more, part of the issue. You consider a second rate team the winners of the French league ahead of PSG and Champions League semi-finalists? Kante played in the Premier League before Chelsea signed him, not a second rate league. If Leicester wanted to sign Fabinho I would have no issue with that. So, not at all comparable.Same could have been said about Kante.
I dread of imagining what you think of Lindelöf's chances, then.Kante played in the Premier League before Chelsea signed him, not a second rate league. If Leicester wanted to sign Fabinho I would have no issue with that. So, not at all comparable.
pr stuff mate.Although hasn't Fabinho been quoted saying he'd love to play for United some day?
It's a risk, no doubt. But it's a different position. He will have Bailly, a settled partner beside him. We will have probably 1 of Jones and Smalling plus Rojo to come in too, even Blind can play CB. The DM needs to come in and be a starter and dominate in possibly the most important part of the pitch. Very different scenarios.I dread of imagining what you think of Lindelöf's chances, then.
