Heard on French tv that 4 bids were submitted, 3 were accepted. Same amount each. 45 mil euros.

Juventus, Man Utd and City.

PSG offer was rejected.

Seems it is up to the player now.

LOL....Monaco isn't letting one of their better players go to fricken PSG. It's like Manchester United letting Rashford go to Liverpool.

Time for United to add 10 million to the offer and call it a day.

I thought Juve pulled out according to DiMarzio? Not sure I believe that now

That's why he said PSG offer was rejected

I'd give my nuts to sign Fabinho though. He's a vital piece missing from our squad

I remember Di Marzio said something along the lines of "Juve believe player has signed a deal with United". May be their bid was accepted but player decided to join United?

But, I don't know why this is being dragged out. One of the easily achievable targets and would definitely improve our team

I think it's time for Utd to up they're £40m bid then.

the transfer fee is already sorted, it all comes down to the player and his ultimate desire. throwing out a higher transfer fee when you already have met the threshold doesn't make sense.

wages, manager, potential to win and exceed what he had at Monaco and playing time will sway Fabinho.

City is basically getting every Monaco player if they get Fabinho as Mendy seems to be a wrap for them as well.

According to L'Equipe TV the Utd bid is already accepted, you just have to convince the player.

If thats the case City and Juve seem to think hes chosen United over them. So he must fancy PSG over United..

Today on L'Equipe TV channel from the host of their daily transfer talk show.

Strange how quiet it is on this front.

Either means we're not in for him at all, or are actually in advanced talks.

Press knows feck all as usual.

Would expect Bouhfasi to know something and tweet about it though.

Maybe it was all a master plan to eff with Chelsea. CFC figured we'd eventually come for Matic, which would help finance Bakayoko, but we beat them to the punch. It could also mean no other Monaco players are off, screwing both CFC & MCFC, & even AFC if they actually going to stump the cash for Mendy.

That's the first time I've heard of someone saying the United bid was accepted and a daily transfer talk show seems a strange place to reveal this kind of big piece of news. I also haven't seen any tweets or articles about it.

This is a very vague and hazy transfer saga. We know for sure that United, City, Juventus, PSG, Barcelona and Atletico have been interested at one point or another.

We know that PSG have submitted at least one bid, possibly two, that have been rejected. It is claimed that United also submitted a bid and have been in talks.

Fabinho himself has publicly inferred that it would be great for him to move to either City or United. He seemingly also likes the idea of PSG, and was apparently spotted in a restaurant with his representative and an Atletico club official.

A trustworthy journalist close to City says that he will not move there and DiMarzio claims that Juventus have all but aborted their efforts to sign him. Atletico have a registration ban.

I think I know how this is going to end. Bayern to wrap it up in a day and a half.

I think we have the player ready to sign, we are just waiting for our expensive transfers done 1st.

This looks potentially very promising.

Lindelof, Lukaku, Fabinho...lets get a winger and (being greedy) another striker and we'll be set.

Maybe not one of their best, but Kurzawa recently did it.

Bouhafsi is on vacation he recently twitted on his account "will have a month vacation and off all notifications" something like that.

How the feck does someone go on a month vacation? That's insane. Not to mention it's probably the most relevant time for his job...

This was his tweet (translated):

"Place a few weeks rest for me. We meet at the end of July! The phone will remain . Happy holidays to all friends"

But when i checked his twitter he already started tweeting. Apologies

Agreed! If we get a good solid DM who can let others do their thing and pass the ball well to spring us on attacks, and a tricky winger to add some more bite to our attack then this summer is an unqualified success.

I think it's time to please Mendes,Monaco doesn't want to sell him to their direct rival and we are not even in news for him.:(

I take a full month every year, at least. I like to travel, and one month is not even that much. Mind you, as a Belgian I have about 36 days every year

We still need a quality left back imo. Still hoping Shaw impresses in pre-season, but if he doesn't then we'll need to invest in one come August.

Also hoping this Fabinho deal goes through. Have a feeling things stalled as we tried to sort out the striker situation, but should pick up speed again next week.

Shaw is injured isnt he? Dont think we will see him for quite some time

There have been a few reports that Jose has been pretty happy with Shaw in the post-season so hopefully he can get a better chance. Hopefully we could get quite a strong and balanced squad.

De Gea

Valencia
Lindelof
Bailly
Shaw

Herrera
Fabinho
Pogba

Mkhi
Lukaku
???

Subs: Romero, Rashford, Martial, Mata, Carrick, Jones, Blind
Reserve: Axel, TFM etc to bleed in to the first team

Missing Perreria in that list, he is returning from a very good loan spell in La Liga.

Hoping Andreas Pereira gets plenty of chances too.

Thing is, he appears injury prone to me. When he started playing last season, he gave some decent performances but I knew he was going to get injured and he did. Also, Jose likes players who have a good fitness record.

No news outlet knew we were in for Lukaku until Wednesday. No one knows what other players we want.
