Fabiano Ready To Move On

12 goal dimitar? :p Unless the others are ready to step up, 12 goals after Rooney isn't what we need from a striker. We need berbatov to become that 20+ striker he was at spurs

He never was one at Spurs though if you mean league goals. He scored 12 league goals for us this season and at Spurs he had 12 and 15.

nah i meant overall - but you know we've better players he would get the numbers but he's missed to many chances someone of his ability should be scoring

29? no thanks.

what happens at 29? Lets just say it's nice for someone to actually want to join us. it's been a while and it reflects well on the club. It wouldn't be an issue for me if Berbatov could relax but he puts too much pressure on himself and misses to many chances that he should be taking

class striker, superb finished. i dont mind him being 29, for 3 years he could easily give us 15goals plus a season

29 years old and only one year on his contract, I'd say he will move for around £15m - and at that price I'd welcome him to United.

Really would be a great player for us. Great finisher lots of confidence and can play a bit aswell.

I wonder how Spurs fans must be feeling about these quotes
Pretty relaxed I imagine (at least I am). We've earned our shot at the CL, have this to look forward to and know that there will be be plenty of good players more than willing to come to the Prem and play for Spurs this coming season.

When does his contract run out?

If it's less 12 months then he is worth £8-10m.

Berbatov. How much would Fabiano cost? 30m? He is not 30m better than Berbatov. We could do so much more with 30m.

He's miles better than Berbatov on what he's shown for us so far. Like you say not £30millions better at that age but I think you would get him for around £12-15.

Exactly, We would be lucky to get 10 million for Berbatov on the market now. Fabiano is far better now than Berbatov was at his best.

For the right price I'd love to see him here, a proven goal scorer who wants to play for United for the right reasons, he'd take the pressure off Wayne and at his age he won't hold back our young strikers too much.

How old was Berbatov when we got him?

The fact is that we have enough youth in our squad, and we are one experienced scorer away from being back up on the summit again.

I say go for him if he's willing to come to rainy old England.

Well the way he's going on about United and Rooney and Fergie I think he would be cool with playing in England

Isnt it just refreshing to hear a big name player genuinly desire to want to come and play here and speak so glowingly about Manchester United?

In a climate where every man and his dog 'dreams' of playing for Barcelona and Real Madrid it makes a pleasent surprise to hear someone speak so passionatly about playing for us.

It all sounds good but are United interesting in him.Personally they would be silly to pass up a player like fabiano but with Berbatov looking like hanging on for one more season can't see aother striker coming in.

I worry that after seeing a couple of goals from Hernandez Fergie might be inclined to give him a try without bringing anyone else in. I think he does rate Fabiano he tipped Brazil to win it and Fabiano is the focal point of the team and the one who gets the goals so he must rate him as a goalscorer. That's the way I look at it anyway.

Hasn't he said he's seeing out his contract? Therefore allowing him to choose where he goes when his time is up?

Sounds like he's putting pressure on his club to cash in now instead of losing him for nothing.

No he hasnt, hes said he wont be signing a new conract and he wants his future sorted as soon as possible after the WC and NOW is the time for him to join a european giant as he puts it, he also said he hopes Sevilla will have already opened discussions over his departure by the time the WC is over.

He wants to move this summer.
