F1 2024 Season

Brilliant racing by Max and Lando today, as usual. Both made a mistake but in the circumstances, best drivers on the grid.

Excellent race. Shame safety car screwed up what should have been a Norris win.

More races like this please.

That was such a good race

Super bru not as shocking as I thought

Max, Lando and Lewis all correct

Who got fastest lap, I had Max?

Good race, shame for Lando, Max got fortunate with great safety car timing, but still drove really well.

While the RB is still clearly ahead, it's nice that other teams have closed the gap quite dramatically.

Was not a definite win without it TBF. Plus there was multiple safety cars so the pack was always gonna get grouped in the dry where it looks like Max was slightly quicker

Well he only won his first because of a safely car, so fair's fair.
This, but even if you look at this race alone Max didn't win because of SC, sure it got him ahead at one point but after that there were one or two additional SCs where Lando could have regained the lead and Max was just the fastest (despite struggling with the car again). Also, fecking hell what a terrible weekend from Perez again. Atrocious decision from Red Bull to extend his contract.

When was the last time we had a race with such excitement? Maybe when Lando won? Or was it the shootout between Hamilton and Verstappen a couple of years ago?

Best race I happened to watch in a long time. Rain never disappoints, wish we had way more rain races.

Fantastic race, historic track and sprinklers is the future.

Russell doesn't seem to like these S bends, that's a few times now he's looked dodgy, a lack of concentration and feeling the pressure.

Sergio Perez was hit with a post-race penalty after Sunday’s Canadian GP, having been deemed to have breached the sporting regulations by driving on track with a heavily damaged car.

The Red Bull charger, whose weekend went from bad to worse following his crash on lap 53 of 70, has been handed a three-place grid drop for the Spanish GP in Barcelona.

I love how Horner defended the new contract yesterday by saying that it would take pressure off Checo so he wouldn't have to keep answering questions about next year.

Now he did say something interesting in addition tho: that his contract is a 1+1 and not a 2.

That's a pitiful penalty.

On a sidenote, Verstappen had a pop at Perez after the GP. Now Helmet Marko has as well. More indirectly. Seems that Perez was renewed because of RedBull internal politics by Horner. Marko wanted him replaced with Norris or Piastri.
