F1 2024 Season

Thought he was going to feck up my pole prediction for a while there

What was Perez doing?

Piastri definitely not happy, no Pole position yet in GP qualifying. Been on pace all weekend, looked quicker than Norris but come Q3 he doesn't seem to have that extra bit of speed

Starting Grid after Hulkenberg's grid drop.

Why does Yuki get overlooked so much?

You only have to listen to Helmut Marko throughout the season as to why. Tsunoda's consistency and emotional stability are a couple of significant factors as to why he'll never be considered for a Red Bull seat. The main one is the fact he's a Honda backed driver and Red Bull would rather not have one there, given that they're off to Aston Martin in 2026.

I just mean in general by F1, not necessarily just RB. I think he's done pretty well this season. At least in quali.

He's done OK this season, in the races he's still not hands down beating his team mate - equal across both Ricciardo and Lawson. F1 will take their lead from RB, if they don't rate him enough for the RB seat then there's no reason why the rest of the paddock will. I suspect he will leave the RB family next season and he'll then be touted to Aston Martin as part of their agreement with Honda.

Did I hear them right that Yuki is driving the RB during the testing?

Perez needs to go but I think the money will save him and there's no stand out replacement, Yuki is too volatile, Franco too crashy and Liam solid rather than spectacular

It's a shame Sainz is stuck at Williams would his driving style have suited the RB or would we have had Perez mk 2? If they hadn't rushed to give Checo the contract they probably could have secured Carlos instead

Lawson's been blanked 0-6 in qualifying by Tsunoda. Probably what makes him an ideal replacement for Perez

You could say Checo has been unlucky the last 2 races but if he'd qualified better here he wouldn't be dragged into the midfield scraps

Move was absolutely on, Piastri was slow and the inside was open. It's a racing incident all day.

When it comes to saving his car from a certain demise Max is virtually without equal. As far as spins go that was pretty beautiful.

Actually do feel bad for Checo here.

Yeah, fair penalty, altough yeah, you can kind of say he was unlucky, best drivers would go for that.

Leclerc could potentially wnd up in top5 which is great, we just need Lando DNF now
