F1 2023 Season

It's a joke of a sport these days. Is it actually even a sport when races are won or lost by fake overtakes (DRS) or random safety cars/red flags?

I don't know. I've been following it since the mid nineties and I'm starting to struggle to stay interested
 
More fun in 9 laps here than on the previous 2 races, why you moaning :(
 
Monaco GP 1999 it's on YouTube if anyone wants to watch by the way, this FIA panel would have had a panic attack as there was cars off left right and centre and a marshall almost getting run over, but guess what no SC at all.
 
Honestly I’d have sent Hamilton out in softs, and then have fresher hard or medium tyres for the rest of the race after 15-20 on the softs. Feel like he will be eaten up now anyway.

Don't think so. The Red Bull has issues with getting temperature in the tyres on this track. Mercs were better at that during qualifying as well. It's probably why Max had so little grip at the start. Wouldn't be surprised if Alonso overtakes him :lol:
 
And that's the race done.... AM looks off it today, could be a decent weekend for Merc in terms of points though.
 
RB with DRS proving they’re in an entirely different formula to the rest
 
The pace of that red bull is an absolute cheat code. He pulled out 2 seconds in what, half a lap?
 
Russell looks quick. Alonso is going to be under extreme pressure on the next lap.
 
Hamilton gained what, 1,5 seconds on Max under VSC? We've seen situations like that since it was introduced but I still don't quite understand how that can happen.
 
RB looking at least 20km/h faster than the Piastri when they both had DRS. Bonkers
 
Lewis saying the tires won’t last, which means he will likely easily finish the race on them as always when he makes those comments.
 
This race definitely needs another safety car, or you’ll see cars managing to the end
 
Hamilton taking fastest lap says all about this race becoming Formula Tyre Management.
 
I hope they all work out this RB DRS trick because it’s genuinely a free pass everywhere for them.
