Chuffed for Sainz. Deserves some respect.
ferrari had a super skinny rear wing and a skinner front wing for this race.im curious as well, how many upgrades did they put on the car?
Whats difficult is to imagine that as an excuse for finishing 8 tenths behind his teammate on a track like this.Aye, but none in fp1 and hardly any in fp2! It's not difficult!
Question is will Stroll Snr also pull out of F1 if his son leaves it? AM have Honda engines coming in 2026 so if Stroll Snr and AM pulled out then what happens?Stroll should consider his career in tennis
Why would he pull out after investing a shitton of money in new factories etc? He might be a cnut but he is not dumbQuestion is will Stroll Snr also pull out of F1 if his son leaves it? AM have Honda engines coming in 2026 so if Stroll Snr and AM pulled out then what happens?
They’re saving the screw ups for the actual raceSo Ferrari only working in Italy.
If all he wanted was for his son to get a seat, he could just buy one from Williams/Haas. He bought a whole team because he genuinely loves the sport and wants to win. If Max says he wants to drive for AM with Alonso, Stroll would dump his son before the call even ends.Question is will Stroll Snr also pull out of F1 if his son leaves it? He's improved the marker value of that team substancially. If he got bored and walked away he wouldnt lose any money. Why would he pull out after investing a shitton of money in new factories etc? He might be a cnut but he is not dumb
Getting bored after years eventually might be a thing. But that's unrelated to his son driving for the teamHe's improved the marker value of that team substancially. If he got bored and walked away he wouldnt lose any money.
Its only my opinion, but i think if lance left F1, his dad's interest in F1 would be substancially diminished.Getting bored after years eventually might be a thing. But that's unrelated to his son driving for the team

For reference thats the gap between 1st and 16th in Q1,
The lack of prep is not an acceptable reason when he had qualy simulations in Fp3 and finished a decent 11th. Its not like he's been dropped into the car at the last minute like Lawson FFS
Yeah though what Marko says should probably always be taken with a bit of a brain of salt, he already said they set up for the race and didn't expect pole today. Which is once again kind of ominous if true.Nice to see a Ferrari on pole in Monza, but unless Max's car goes pop, I think he'll still win tomorrow.
My man Albon still killing it though.

Ofcourse its not just doing qualy runs, but he got the qualy prep and yet was terrible at it. So yeah that's inexcusable.Meh, seems a good explanation to me. Fp3 isn't cars all doing qualifying laps you know.

Because I can see the data that he had a decent number of qualy runs in FP3 (hard and soft tyre runs) just like the rest of them, what else do we need?He didn't get the prep, for reasons already mentioned. Why would you insist he did when he clearly didn't?
Should be a decent race, still think Max and his incredible DRS will be hard to beat.Dry race. No rain.
Ferrari’s biggest threat is Ferrari.
I noticed that in qualifying and massivelyI don't think the difference will be top speed or DRS, as much as speed and calm cornering coming out of parabolica or two Lesmos which will alow Red Bulls to overtake, considering Ferrari will probably be all over the place in comparision with them in those corners. Ferrari is still purposing as feck.
One more formation lap.Surely they will need to delay the start?
Worst possible place and if the engine just broke and can't turn to neutral, then they can't move the car.How hard is to move the fecking car, amazing stuff.
