Has a driver yes, his past seasons rants leave a sour taste, but I said earlier I would not be unhappy with him winning. You don’t like him? What a yoke.

Yes, you are right. They should just take responsibility and die like men. Brilliant.
We went car racing mateSlow down. It's irresponsible driving.
We went car racing mate
Two problems,Double yellows and safety cars - isn't that enough? It's only not enough if the drivers aren't mature enough to slow. Which the rules say the have to.
Two problems,
1) when you have so much water on the track and arent on full wets the tyres get overloaded.
2) Under safety car the tyre temps drop off too much.
I do get the whole, just go racing its water. But times gave changed and this isnt the F1 of 20/30 years ago.
After what happen wth Jules Bianchi, F1 will never take that risk again. That was under a VSC or a safety car (cant remember) and he slid off and hit the recovery vehicle.Other sports manage it. And I didn't say just go racing, I said don't red flag a race because a car is being towed - just get them to slow down.
I don't think it's progress making everything idiot proof. It just making the world more suitable for idiots.
I remember some very wet races, Senna at Monaco and Donnington instantly come to mind. What could they change so we get more chances for them to actually go racing in the rain? I swear they used to keep going in wetter conditions in the 90s, how can we return to that?
I agree after Jules, there will never be cars on the track, while one is being removed and rightly so.After what happen wth Jules Bianchi, F1 will never take that risk again. That was under a VSC or a safety car (cant remember) and he slid off and hit the recovery vehicle.
F1 have the drivers on their side on this issue as well.
On a sidenote there have been plans muted, to change the rules to not allow a free tyre change under red flag conditions. I hope they go through.
