Max looked pretty slow for his usual pace, but I wouldn't worry about it.

RB and Merc didnt do any qually runs. The tyre allocation experiement for this weekend qualifiying makes the results of FP1 and FP2 pretty useless.

Red Bull are really struggling. Either the update isn't working or they're unable to find the right setup for it with this shitty new format.

Wonder how these kids got the sky role did they win a competition?

Their snippets are actually really interesting just had one of them speaking with Charles

For me it seems that the track is speeding up on hards every new lap, like when it dries after a rain. Those who set the clean lap latest will probably end up in Q2.

Decent drama with hards. Ricciardo wins against Yuki.

Alpine's front wing won't last full race

Cost cap smth smth

What was that snail pace before the fast lap though?

On hard tyres as well. That can't put them in the best condition for a flying lap. Russell being half a second behind Hamilton just isn't good enough though, he has to start showing a bit more I think.

Once the other teams start to catch up with Red Bull the Max hype can finally start to die :)

Don't get ahead of yourself, Max was definitely preserving the tyres this lap. Incoming crushing domination in Q3.

You better stop hoping that will happen soon, I have a bad news for you.

Verstappen has had the benefit of saving an extra set of tires going into Q3 in previous qualy sessions, doesnt have that advantage here.

Weird interview with Russell, starts by blaming cars overtaking him at the end of his out lap "including Gasly" then changed his mind mid interview and end it's by saying it's not the other cars fault.

No he was always blaming the strategy. He said that drivers are doing what's best for them and that's okay.
