F1 2021 Season

Agreed. With how much work they’re still putting in on it with 2 minutes until restart, that’s indicate that it’s not in great shape

Rosberg has a guess that the damage is going to cost him half a second a lap. If he's close its not looking good.

Plus he would need to take most of the field without getting in anymore accidents. I think its too much but if the car holds up I expect some solid points from him still.

Race for the lead is going to be non existent but mid pack should be good, lots of cars where they wouldn't usually be.

I completely get that Max is unlucky. But why does that by default make Lewis lucky? He qualified first, he made a great start, which both in combination meant he was ahead and in the best place to avoid collisions. Max is unlucky 100% and to the extent that gives Hamilton a gain in the championship, it benefits Lewis. But there is a reason beyond luck as to why Hamilton came out of that unscathed.

He wasn't first in Silverstone and got lucky after a collision of his own making. Whether he's directly involved or not is irrelevant when he's blatantly the main beneficiary in terms of the race.

Not even done 2 corners and it's already the most exciting race of the season

What is lucky about qualifying on pole and making a good start?
Neither of that is lucky, that's pure skill.

However, having your main competitor (who also had a good start) getting knocked out by a third party is a huge slice of luck. That cannot be argued IMO.
