It wasn’t intentional ... but Bottas and Stroll are 100% to blame. Slippery track yeah, but he has to keep control of his car.
No, lucky because Max (who had a start just as good as Hamilton btw) gets taken out. Thought that was pretty obvious. Just had to be Bottas who caused it too didn't it

Agree but once the car starts to slide, no stopping it.
Bottas looked like when you start holding throttle too soon in Mario Kart.
Especially considering the conditions likely won’t improve before the restart and that Max is going to have to push it from here to try and get onto the podium .. it’ll be a hell of a drive if he manages it

It’s bad luck but it’s also part and parcel of it. I’m sure there are plenty of times Hamilton has been taken out. And an element of it is also that this is part of the benefit of qualifying first. If Max qualifies first, he avoids the collision. Hard luck yes but can’t start knocking other drivers (except Bottas and Stroll who are morons!

Yeah he went on the grass to avoid the collision but the speed he was carrying into that corner was utterly moronic.

This F1 Season has really been entertaining, glad to see Lewis Hamilton maintaining that first place which Mercedes really need with Bottas out of the race. As for Red Bull, it is what it is, their embarrassing behaviour has certainly caught up with them this season though.

I mean let’s be real... he is unlucky to get caught in that mess. Yes, there is an argument to say if he had qualified first he would not be in that situation. But it’s possible to say that Max is unlucky without also making the conclusion that Hamilton is lucky.
