Then you need to improve your qualifying performance!
I've had a podium finish in the last 4 races, 2 3rds and 2 1sts starting from 3rd to 6th on the grid each time, maybe instead of trying to be clever with your answers read the part where I said 'I might just be blind.' There's no harm in just pointing things out rather than taking that ground like too many people here do.
Fair enough. Wait until you take it to the next level and use tyre wear and Fuel simulation, then after a few laps realise the other drivers are immune to it. Frustrating![]()
It was tongue in cheek, dry your eyes.![]()
Ah balls! I chose Alonso as my Rival as I despise him in real life, not because I wanted to drive for Ferrari! Now I'm in a real pickle whether I stay at Lotus or go to Ferrari if they offer me. It's a big step up, but I'd prefer red bull or mclaren..
At what stage can you pick a rival?
doh! Imagine it's Massa they release to pair you with Alonso.
Sweet, thanks.Around the Hungary/Belgium Grand Prix. You get a media interview to pick one.
Could be ok. Just skill up him every race, then move on after killing his racist ass.
1st in istanbul, this pleases me![]()
Nice oneyou'll do it in Montreal as well, I did it in both and found Montreal far easier than Istanbul.
Lambs, you hardcore mofo. I don't think they made the game for people like you.
What does the fuel simulation do? I have it on but you can't refuel this season so I'm not sure what the difference would be if I turned it off.
It's all about patience and a steady right foot! As I said earlier in the thread, if people can get their head round braking late, turning in and gently feathering the throttle all through the turn, it makes a world of difference.
Also it's important to set the car up right. Even though you can't feel the back of the car (grrr!) I'm still an oversteer merchant on this game. I rather the arse coming round on me, than understeering off on gravel, because I normally am in a position where I just need a little more throttle to power through it.
Practice makes perfect!

Well, I've only played it for one night and I was using a controller, but I am a racing game stalwart and enjoy sim to arcade to karting madness. Braking late and feathering the throttle are coded into my dna.
nicei had webber all over me lap after lap for ages, feck me those red bulls are fast! eventually he slid on one of the bends and into the barrier at the pit wall taking off his front wing and sending him into the pits. i was relieved to say the least!
I won't be getting a wheel with this unfortunately, just spunked my monthly gaming allowance on a psp with games and Dead Rising 2. I know I'll enjoy this though, bugs and cheating AI aside, I've enjoyed Grid and Need For Speed Shift loads recently and they're far from perfect. NFS did have nice snap oversteer though, loved the weight representation and nose dip on some cars for what is essentially an arcade racer with loads of gimmicks.
Eh Lamby, you've gone done in my estimation. Keep fuel on and you will be finishing where should.
Lightweight ;-)
Woooo, 1:30.34.
Eh? I finished second in bahrain and 3rd in monaco in a lotus with fuel on!
It's just a liberty with the fuel. Same with the tyres, but you have to keep them on or its far too easy!
