Eva Carneiro leaves Chelsea

I think you have to ask questions about how a woman of her age is unmarried and childless at that age. What do you think her masterplan here is? Trick Abramovich into getting her up the duff and then force him to marry her? Or something even more dishonest?

I doubt she's even a doctor. Wimin shouldn't be allowed be doctors anyway, especially loose, unmarried ones as you say, they'd only be trying to ride all their male patients, and imagine them trying to diagnose something when they have their special wimins time.

Agreed. And they should, and will, pay for it.

You can't treat your employees like shite anymore because you're having a tantrum, thankfully.
I'm just taking offence with the treating like shit part.

Publically questioning them and removing them from an aspect of their job is not treating them like shit. There are many cases where people have been treated much worse then this by employers and haven't sued. I just think its a bit shitty on her behalf. I also think it was shitty on Mourinhos behalf as well and he deserves punishment for it (Which he got in the last few months IMO).

More fool them, should've gotten proper legal advice.
Probably. Unfortunately they weren't being paid the money she was so... But oh well, its not a big deal. Couple million and it will go away.

Making her the subject of negative attention from the world's media, while outright saying she doesn't understand the game she has made her livelihood from and then banishing her from the bench, with the negative asperions that brings, is absolutely treating her like shit. Not to mention causing her serious professional and reputational damage.

Mourinho hasn't been punished. He hasn't even apologised, or even deigned to explain his decision. He's been criticised by the media, all of which he brought upon himself and deserved, and punished for other, unrelated offences.

His punishment is having his own reputation felling under disrepute to the point where many consider him not to be the best any more. That's worse then any potential questioning of her ability that may result from this (Which won't btw).

What? That's not a 'punishment' and it has nothing to do with the issue. It's entirely separate and, quite honestly, his own pissing fault for losing football matches.

I hope she takes them to the cleaners, shit club that seems to have even shittier management.

Honestly speaking, I don't give a shit about this topic. I think Eva is being opportunistic, I think Chelsea were stupid and completely liable for it and I think Mourinho is a whinging shit. This story holds no interest for me other then the fact that it gives people the chance to shit on Chelsea once more. Its weeks old news as well.

So far his reputation is mostly being hurt by getting poor results that goes against his usual record. Eva Carnerio was demoted for doing what her job entails.

Maybe, maybe not. We don't know anything about what happens behind closed doors. Its not even a topic for discussion either.

So basically -

"his punishment for being a bit of a bellend in public is, people thinking he's a bit of a bellend."

and thats far worse than him publicly questioning the professionalism or ability of someone for just going about their job.

Ok.

I actually don't really care about this.

Gol123 doesn't seem to understand what constructive dismissal actually is.

Also he seems like one of this 'I'll defend anything my club does' types.

Tbf, poor Roman Abramovich is new to this avaricious floozy's game - he has no experience of people taking millions under false pretences.

As a doctor, her first role is to attend an injured person (a player on her own team, opposing team, or a fan....does not matter who). In her opinion the player needed urgent attention and she went onto the pitch. I think she was ushered on by the ref also. She was demoted from the match day squad and according to reports banished to an office in the training complex. She was unable to do her job as club doctor. Chelsea have zero chance of winning this. No doubt her legal people were playing hard when trying to get a settlement and Chelsea were probably doing the same. Chelsea wont want this anywhere near court and a lot of inside stories will come out, so this will she will get a large settlement before a full court hearing. These settlements always have a clause stating that the details can never be revealed and the person that receives the settlement can never reveal negative details about their experience during their employment.

Gol123 is acting like a prick in this thread. Mourinho blamed his squad's ineffectiveness and his own inefficiency on the doctor. If he does that behind closed doors, it doesn't harm her reputation. Publicly doing it and straight away relegating her to the training ground was wrong. It's not like his team turned into winners the moment he did that. Subsequent results prove that he's off his rocker as usual in the third season and has been trying to blame everyone from the players, staff to the referees for it. You can't tarnish someone's professional reputation like that and expect to get away with it.

No I haven't. Eva Carneiro isn't representative of the world. She is just an opportunistic lady who wants millions for jack shit. Why should I take the side of somebody like that?
 If ever a poster defined a club....

I think he begs to differ (from the newbie thread on the subject):

I have more legal knowledge then people on here have about the circumstances of her demotion.

I wasn't. I was saying I know more about law then people on here condemning Chelsea do about what goes on inside of the club and the reason for her dismissal.

A pretty lass on the bench. I don't imagine she could have kept it up for ever :) Chelsea lost half their fan base when she got sacked. Shame.

If anything did happen behind closed doors that justified Chelsea sacking her (which is effectively what they did) then she wouldn't be suing because she wouldn't have a leg to stand on. She is a doctor not some attention seeking bimbo.
