Eva Carneiro leaves Chelsea

I think she's hot in a way

To quote Jack Nicholson:
There is nothing on this earth sexier, believe me, gentlemen, than a woman you have to salute in the morning. Promote 'em all, I say, because this is true - if you haven't gotten a blow-job from a superior officer, well, you're just letting the best in life pass you by. 'Course, my problem is, I'm a colonel, so I guess I'll just have to keep taking cold showers until they elect some gal president.

Out of court settlement for sure. Roman will give her a few millions, a Zonda and a month's worth of use of his Eclipse to shut her up.

Out of court settlement seems the best logical outcome for both parties.
I doubt even Eva want to push this too much as it might hurt her future career. Just accept the silly cash, make a couple press interview to badmouthed Jose and then move on.

I think it's absolutely disgusting that in this day and age such blatant sexism is allowed to exist, and go on unpunished, in the otherwise pristine and spotless world of football!
BTW: They always seem to use that pursed lips picture of her, the one where she looks like she's searching for somewhere to spit out a mouthful of cum
Ha, the irony in the last part of your white text....

Is she even that good of a doctor huh?
Chelsea clearly thought so, she was actually Assistant Medical Director - not "just" a doctor.

I expect Chelsea to settle out of court, and they will pay a significant extra sum for a confidentiality agreement. They look bad enough already, they don't want her doing the rounds of the chat shows and news programmes.

It was tongue in cheek comment after all the "shes fit get her in!!" comments. She's clearly very good at her job.

It definitely would have been a story if she were a male. Hell, when controversy broke out over Bayerns medical staff, it became a story in England. I can't recall an incident like this before, where a manager at the top level has hung his medical staff out to dry like this.

Might not have been quite as big or persistent, but there would be a story.

Because numbers are showing that she is arguably the best in the business even after she saw 4 Chelsea managers come in and out with different training methods. With all due respect to Steve McNally, I just can't put him at the same level as her when you look at their respective resumes.

And besides, didn't Tony Strudwick get moved to a different (and arguably higher) position after Van Gaal arrived? Van Gaal can always find something for McNally if United somehow get someone as highly rated as Eva Carneiro.

Like people already said, Mourinho is a cnut and Chelsea are a scum club for the way they acted towards their own staff.

 I understand that football fans readily like disposing of multi million pound superstars as and when fit, discussing their respectuve abilities based on their on pitch exploits, but club fecking doctors? Jesus.

How on earth do you know that Eva Carneiro is a better doctor than Steve McNally? Mental.

Although the Bayern case is a special case too given that the doctor in question is a celebrity in his own right.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her move on without taking legal action. And that would be because I would not be surprised if there was some involvement with a player in there.

Exactly. Mourinho publically criticising anyone would be a story. Yes the press focussed more on her then the other bloke, but that's the perogative of the press.

Also, is it a bad thing that this case has been highlighted? I don't mean that bollocks about her personal life that one paper printed (obviously thats a bad thing)... but I mean, there are so few women who can and do take active roles in a male dominated sport that its a shame that one woman who had actually managed to do so got hung out to dry in the way that she (and the other guy) have done.

No one even know his name  :nervous:

It's like the Sian Massey business - it's the unfairness that makes people angry as much as the sexism aspect.

Sign her up Louis!

Indeed. Though obviously for her medical skills and to put one over on Chelsea, not for her good looks... that would be terrible & sexist to even suggest it ... though it would be the hottest thing on the bench since Phelan's shorts.

That's a pretty shit way of looking at it, kind of similar to believing that rich people can't be depressed

I mean her professional circumstances. A high profile doctor leaves her job after a row with her boss, hardly anything extraordinary about that. She was in this business completely voluntary to begin with, and will most certainly be able to continue her work somewhere else whenever she wants.

Try losing your job without having any realistic hope of getting a new one. That is tough, this is (relatively speaking) nothing.

If it turns out that she is actually depressed or something of the like, then sure, I will be a different matter.

Based on what exactly?? Voices in your head??
To be fair he did say he wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't be surprised either, for no reason other than 'inadvisable colleague sex' is hardly unheard of - even when it's unethical (I'm not sure if it's legal or not, but still would hardly be shocking if it isn't).

There was an other guy?
The other one who attended to the Hazard injury, Mourinho gave him a bollocking as well when he came back to the bench, right after he had a go at Carneiro.

How many matches were lost by our players through injuries? How many matches Chelsea players lost through injuries? What is our overall position in terms of matches missed through injuries in the last 4 seasons? What is Chelsea's position in the same charts for the same period? Answer those questions, and you will have your answers.

Like I wrote before, Eva Carneiro had to deal with different training methods from 4 different managers. Even then, her work allowed the players to miss so few matches due to injuries DESPITE having crocks like Michael Essien and Ashley Cole on board for some time. Can you just give her credit for that? I have yet to read or hear criticism from an ex-Chelsea player on her work as a doctor while there has already been some against McNally.
