Spanish teams seem to have some sort of voodoo on us, so I can see our rabble struggling against mid-table Sociedad.
AZ I would expect us to beat with our ‘best’ eleven, less so with our current lot.
Whilst progression in the EL is nice, and winning the cup would go some way to easing the pain of this season, the reality is we could still finish in the bottom 6, and that has to be the priority fix for the summer.
