He's disrespected around here because of the horrible results as a manager.

Next, if you respect a man just because he played for Man United, you're out of your god damn mind. You know nothing of the man, how who behaves, who he is and so on. Are you still respecting Mason Greenwood or Epstein?

Stop this respect shit and treat football players/public persons like normal dudes, as they are the same as us.

Your post is very RAWKish, very very RAWKish.

Clearly you don't know crap about being United fan if you are comparing Ole to Epstein.

If they are the same as you -- how come you never made it to the very top of the sport we love? Clearly you are missing something? Maybe some self-awareness -- you have no clue how much sacrifice and talent it takes to get to the very top. And to think as a fan your views or judgements are equal to that of someone who has played or managed at the highest level? You must be the most naive person on earth then.
The death of expertise is what we seem to be facing -- not only in football but generally around the work -- in politics, Qanon circles, anti-vaxxers etc.

Ferguson didn’t have the greatest media relationship either, especially following on the tail of the undeniably charismatic Mr. Bojangles, so it’s not really relevant.

As long as he doesn’t set himself up for Christian Gross level ridicule by doing something daft.

People don't respect a man just because he plays for Manchester United - people respect a player who scored 126 goals in 366 games whilst 150 of those games actually came off the bench. He also was vital to one of our only 3 CL titles which we don't even have much of.

Just because Ole failed here as manager doesn't mean he intentionally wanted to put United down. He tried his best and now He's in the past and I don't know why people don't just get over it rather than talking about him as a problem we could change.

We seem to have a lot of self-deluded fools in the forum lately. The level of disrespect of a club legend is sad -- Ole's effort gave Fergie one of his best nights ever and yet...
United must have one of the worst sets of 'fans' -- as much as the RAWKs were deluded about the potential of the players, the United caftards here are everything you don't want out of supposedly 'fans'. Its embarassing.

More like fair weather fans.

Sorry man, I can't bother to answer to that, as much as I'm itching to do it.

You've taken my post about something very rational and you're turning it into a comparison/fanboy-ism stuff.

If you're willing to offer your respect to someone just because you're a fan, congrats, you're achieving stuff in life.

How has he become the likes of Epstein and Greenwood? Dear Lord! He had a few bad results but he still delivered top 4 in consecutive years. And the for the better part of it, we played decent football. Yes, he was tactically unaware at times... but we did quite well given the circumstances. His worst performance was actually the first 3 months of this season.

This is becoming a witch hunt. We're looking for an excuse for our shit show and making a scapegoat out of him. When in fact, it wasn't entirely his fault. The players and the club have to share the blame.

My theory is they aren't happy they picked us to support all them years back during the domination and the hate and self loathing for everything now is reflective of how themselves hate that they picked us instead of city etc.

Let him finish his work. Jesus. I want him but I would prefer not to pester him and AJAX. Be respectful.

Not sure it's true. According to reports everywhere else the deal is almost done.
Most are suggesting it is done and only consideration for Ajax’s position is why an announcement has been quite rightly delayed.
This journo has confirmed it’s basically a done deal, he’s more saying that assertions it was done last week we’re false and that Leipzig did turn his head a little. However it is done now.

They met in secret and the Express not only knows that the secret meeting happened but they also know the topics of that meeting. They probably have the same definition of secret than James Bond.

Doesn’t really matter though does it if you get 81 points or 74 points, Solskjær still finished runners up aswell and played a lot better football then Jose, yes it wasn’t always pretty under Solskjær but he had us playing some good football at times. I’d take a 74 point 2nd place finish and enjoyable football then an 81 point 2nd place finish and horrible football to watch. There both the same outcome you don’t get anything for 2nd place finishes.
Jose won trophies , try to explain that. if you'd take so called "better football" (although its not) over trophies then you are clueless

You might have something there -- I mean how do you hate something or somebody you never met, know the company or even the job, especially when it's only a sport?
Its self-reflective is anything.. when Ole's been gone six months now and yet ...here we are. Like some ex-gf.

100%. Nail on head.

I’m going out on a limb here but I reckon one of the main questions/themes of the interview could well have been “what do you think we have we been doing wrong the last 9 years and how do you think we can fix it?” - heck they may have even been asked to do a presentation on it - just a hunch.

"How much time do we have?"
