Can't believe there are people in here who think he should go - unless they're wind up posts and I'm being gullible as feck.

The way we’re run is not going to change while the Glazers are here. We have to make do till they leaveYep. But United are stupid and never learn. All talk and then we do the same mistakes over and over again.
This is how I feel. We're coming off of a season where we finished in the EL spots, we lost our top goalscorer from last season because he turned to liquid shit and didn't replace him, our most technical midfielder is injured until May/June.Lets be honest here. If Erik guides us to a 4th placed finish, I'd be fecking ecstatic.
As would most of our supporters at the start of the season.
We just need to get back to the CL. That for me would be a successful first season.
I agree. Can't just sign players from the Eredivisie or formerly. We didn't get Gakpo so took Weghorts on loan. This did not work for Van Gaal and probably won't for Eth. We need to support him proper with scouting and transfersIt's my big fear: we finally have an excellent coach, one proven to be able to get a bunch of players to play progressive, enjoyable football. One who can actually make a team better than the sum of its parts.
But we're probably going to hamstring him by, ironically, giving him full control over recruitment. Which shouldn't be his job.
I am still p*ssed with Andy Carroll for that tackle. This is how I feel. We're coming off of a season where we finished in the EL spots, we lost our top goalscorer from last season because he turned to liquid shit and didn't replace him, our most technical midfielder is injured until May/June.
Memories seem to be short around here, at least for the vocal minority that are acting like nothing has improved. We were terrible last season, arguably the worst we've ever been because it came after a decade of dross. This place became depressing because of it. As recently as last week we were ecstatic because of how far we've come and the future looks positive.
There's already a lot to celebrate this season. Liverpool absolutely demolished us, but it was their cup final. We had ours the other week and won.
I think ETH's mistake was to think we can play expansive football every game. Even when we were winning trebles under SAF Anfield was a game where we went first and foremost not to lose. We setup to beat them yesterday, which is a reasonable thing to do, but I think it was a lesson for ETH that any team in the PL can beat another on their day. We need to keep things tight before we try and take the game to them. Its not a league where clubs roll over for the best teams.
In a sea of crazy posts, congratulations for earning the prestigious 'Quality Control'Erik Seven Haag has to go now. It is looking more and more like Ole's reign, purple patches dont last forever. At least Ole could handle the big games and not make us lose by such huge margins against our rivals.
What wrong with some questioning the manager? He is the one who is in charge you know, who has overseen this 7-0 utter humiliation, he’s the one who keeps playing weghorst at 10 and played Bruno in the left, he’s the one who decided to throw 90m at a bang average hopeless winger. That’s all on him. So now, you can’t even criticise the manager no matter what?An absolute freak result. It sucks, but seeing folks in here now question Ten Hag confirms (as if it was needed) we have such an awful fickle fanbase who turn on you at the drop of a hat.
I hate that about this club.
Did we play expansive football yesterday though? To me it appeared to be just a team making an obscene amount of mistakes in one half as were mentally and emotionally all over the place.I think ETH's mistake was to think we can play expansive football every game. It is something he will learn. When SAF was manager, most games, we were under the cosh for majority of game, so it was all hands on deck, then we'd nick it with a goal. At times you have to just go against your beliefs to get a result.I agree with part of this and actually think we did what you said in terms of keeping it tight in the first half and trying to pick and choose when we pressed high for example. I just think we got a tad sloppy for the first goal and then came out the second half too loose trying to come back (which is exactly what we've done vs newcastle, west ham, leicester , Barca x2). Then when you add in fatigue and then anfield swallowing the players up, emotions etc, it ended up how it ended up.
Its a learning process though. Not in terms of learning how not to get beat 7 0! But where this team is, its not at a stage where it can go to Anfield after a grueling schedule and open up, it may never get there, maybe it will. But so far Ten Hag has shown that with these defeats he learns from them and thats what I expect to see.
No, you can't criticise the manager. That would be fecking stupid. What wrong with some questioning the manager? Clear and obvious wum. Imagine being bad at something so uselessErik Seven Haag has to go now. It is looking more and more like Ole's reign, purple patches dont last forever. At least Ole could handle the big games and not make us lose by such huge margins against our rivals.
There is nothing wrong with questioning his decisions yesterday. It is the spoilt brats who think he should get sacked. Idiots. He has given us some great times this season with possibly even more to come. What wrong with some questioning the manager? No we haven’t
Aye that is why Ole won us so many trophies in the big games. Think there are quite a few opposition fans on here posing as United fans.Clear and obvious wum. Imagine being bad at something so useless
The 6-3 was away, so it wasn't factual. This is factually incorrect. 7-0 Liverpool, 6-3 (2 after City stopped trying to play ball) at Old Trafford, 4-0 vs Brentford. Can probably add 3-1 vs Aston Villa considering how they are this season, but the 3 results Ive mentioned are good old fashioned batterings.
This isnt a comment thats inviting a "what about" response. These are results we have had this season. That information is factual.
Not true. LVG last win against Liverpool at Anfield was a borefest. In Mourinho first season, first half at Anfield was only behind Juanfield game. We pressed Klopp Liverpool off the park in that first half.
Simply Klopp exploited ETH's stubborn by starting Weghorst in midfield. His Liverpool was raring for the game of course. We had our chances in the first half, but even if we scored, the way we played, we're still open for Liverpool to punish us.
You also get a lot of posters adamant it’s not fatigueI was travelling over the weekend, so I totally missed this game.
But jeeze the reactionary comments on here, surely these posts are parodies.
I don't even have to watch the game to understand it is most likely due to fatigue, we've been playing 2 games a week since the world cup.
He has turned OT into a fortess again. We can beat the big teams there. It is how we play against them away from home needs sorting. The 6-3 was away, so it wasn't factual.
All of our big losses were away.
Of course they will be tired, remember a lot of the players played in the World Cup and as has been said then come back to playing two games a week. We have won one cup, are in the final stages of two more competitions. The mental fatigue on top of the physical side will be kicking in. ETH will now have to handle the squad carefully regarding rotation and how physically demanding the training is. I fecking hate Andy Carroll. Think I mentioned that somewhere else. You also get a lot of posters adamant it’s not fatigue
This is true. Under Solksjaer for example, rather than being upset, we'd have been overjoyed that it wasn't 13-0 instead. What a smart takeChrist. Some embarrassing post on here. So short sighted and a severe lack of ability to see the bigger picture.
It's like the last few months never happened.
The fact how annoyed we all are about the result is testament to the job he has done, or even some how managed to do with some of these players. This time last season we wouldn't have been surprised.
Think a lot of us it is shock rather than anger. This is true. Under Solksjaer for example, rather than being upset, we'd have been overjoyed that it wasn't 13-0 instead. What a daft take
I do think there's some dogmatism in him trying to play on equal footing with the home team in away games, Eriksen got thoroughly outran and outworked against Brentford, and City and Pool showed us what happens when we try to attack them without the requisite quality upfront yet, same with the Arsenal game when we had a great start but couldn't solidify and let them equalise too early. Regardless, he has to try to push the limits with this group of players to see what they are capable of. If a year from now when we are fighting for the title and he sets us up like that again at Anfield/Emptyhad/Emirates without the result then by all means, criticise away, but at the moment, although painful, it's all a part of the process. You cant compromise on your beliefs and just default to counterattacking football in adverse circumstances, that's not how you build a dominant team in this day and age.He has turned OT into a fortess again. We can beat the big teams there. It is how we play against them away from home needs sorting.

NonsenseThis is true. Under Solksjaer for example, rather than being upset, we'd have been overjoyed that it wasn't 13-0 instead. What a smart take
A 7-0 thrashing by the club's major rivals would be upsetting even if it was on the back of a CL win.
It's right this post was liked by a pigeon because with pathetic standards like these is why we've ended up being City and Liverpool's pigeon over the past years.Christ. Some embarrassing post on here. So short sighted and a severe lack of ability to see the bigger picture.

ETH has gone with a two man midfield away at Anfield, the Emirates, and the Etihad. We’ve lost every single game, and two by large score-lines.
The 6-3 was away, so it wasn't factual.
All of our big losses were away.
Sorry but this isn't accurate..isn't the coach supposed to be the one to identify which players suite his system. Not all transfers work to this you can attest. It's my big fear: we finally have an excellent coach, one proven to be able to get a bunch of players to play progressive, enjoyable football.
