Starting to annoy you?
He's been annoying for a while now.
I didn't realise he would take out his frustration at us not appointing Pochettino quite so loudly

Fanboy gon' fanboyWhy have the ex-players except Gary Neville been so wide of the mark on this?
Fanboy gon' fanboy
The only worrying thing for me is that these muppets might only be putting in performances now because the World Cup is next month.
We’ll see how motivated they are post WC.
I'm surprised we haven't seen more youth get actual minutes when our first XI players aren't performing such as Sancho, I thought he would be quite trusting of them so I wonder whether they just genuinely aren't at the level we believed them to be yet, I'm talking about Pellistri, Mainoo, McNeil, Garnacho, Iqbal & Shola etc
I'm getting worried about Garnacho's lack of minutes. Isn't he now in the last year of his contract??
Contrasting reports on whether he signed a new one or not but for me the thing to note is he seems very eager and sure of himself and I don't want a PP repeat situation where he leaves to seek game time as I do think he could be good enough but just have to trust ETH
Most of them that have all of a sudden found form before a major tournament. Rashford, Shaw, Dalot and Martial mostly, maybe Varane also.Which muppets are you concerned about?

This is the point that these so called 'pundits' don't seem to get which is surprising considering they were former professional players themselves. The whole 'role' thing is weird for me to understand, I don't think Ronaldo was ever meant to play a bit part role. I think aside from the big games where pressing would be key EtH was always going to pick the best and most in-form player for the central striker spot and the position would have to be earned. That's probably still how it is.
We have just three recognized players that can play the number 9 role. It's just a shame from our perspective that Rashford clearly looks 10 times the player on the left, Martial is always injured and Ronaldo missed his pre-season and is woefully out of form. I'm really happy with the way things are heading under ten Hag but the striking role is a bit of a concern going forward. I hope Martial gets fit and stays that way or Ronaldo starts hitting some form again.
Who’s going to text stories to them then? Why have the ex-players except Gary Neville been so wide of the mark on this?
It's silly, but somehow I feel it's because he texts them, and that makes them feel relevant (when you're no longer a star in your own right, being able to know a GOAT level player is your mate perhaps gives some validation). Why have the ex-players except Gary Neville been so wide of the mark on this?
Yes.Who’s going to text stories to them then?
All what our ex players do (those who work as pundits) are moaning and criticism.Don't get how our ex-legends are taking Ronaldo's side here. You'll think playing under Fergie would make them believe the manager's side is the one to always take in such issues.
What piece? It's silly, but somehow I feel it's because he texts them, and that makes them feel relevant (when you're no longer a star in your own right, being able to know a GOAT level player is your mate perhaps gives some validation).
In the piece Rio did, just as he was about to start speaking, he apparently received a text from Ronaldo. You can easily see how there's no way they'll be objective here. The big shame is them throwing ETH under the box as a result of their tunnel vision.
Carragher's comment described this situation perfectly; "You are Rio Ferdinand, ffs. Don't be a fanboy".It's silly, but somehow I feel it's because he texts them, and that makes them feel relevant (when you're no longer a star in your own right, being able to know a GOAT level player is your mate perhaps gives some validation).

We are close. The tactics were perfectly fine and we were able to go through there midfield with ease when we had the ball. Funnily enough today, we needed a little bit more aggression from Bruno and especially Sancho during the first half, their passing in the last third was a bit too conservative. The short corners consistently displaced their defense but the players didn't go for the low on target crosses that I'm pretty sure were instructed.
In my opinion we are very close, an actual striker, the same Bruno that we have seen during the last two games, Rashford on the left and we are in business.
In five years time, Ten Hag will be away from United, and no one will talk about him at Man United,” said Souness. “I would have ironed it out with Ronaldo on day 1. I personally would use him very differently, I still think he’s got something to offer.
His Vibe with 5 channel. Just as he was asked the question about his views, his phone buzzed and he made a point that it was Ronaldo. What piece?
Will they get text from their friend when he leaves? Don't think do.
Poor Gary, no more text for him...
That's brilliant if he said that.Carragher's comment described this situation perfectly; "You are Rio Ferdinand, ffs. Don't be a fanboy".
Strange that Rio is still defending Ronaldo despite knowing fans opinion.
oh the irony of a liverpool pundit bashing a United manager for how he's handling Ronaldo who threw a hissy fit not once but twice now for now being played and asked to come on in the last 10 minutes of a match
hell it only took what a week???
Can you clarify what exactly you are on about here?Eventually he’ll be right. If you whine every time we have a game, he’s bound to get what he is afraid of. He needs to start taking his meds again.
That's brilliant if he said that.
Spot on. I do think missing the preseason is one of biggest mistake Ronaldo has ever made in his career, especially at his age, under new manager/system, and in WC year. It’s beyond stupid to miss the whole thing, and he is now suffering from the consequences - struggling with fitness level, adapting to new team style, and leading to the whole communication mess with the manager.I watched the full video and it's actually better to watch it rather than just reading tweet with limited context. Rio basically said that Ronaldo did wrong to walk out, and ETH did the right thing to punish him as he is setting the culture into the club. But he believes that ETH could have prevent this from happening if he would communicate with Ronaldo about his role.
Well, I'm not on any sides. I do think managing someone like Ronaldo requires something different compare to others but in reality not all managers will have the same kind of man management. ETH is ruthless and I like it.
IMO this could have been prevented if Ronaldo didn't skip the pre-season. Pre-season can be used to build fitness and get used to the new manager's system and to understand the manager's criteria or even to allow the manager to understand and know well about the player. Ronaldo missed the opportunity to work with ETH in pre-season, there was never a link between the two to begin with and it started by Ronaldo skipping the pre-season. Never underestimating the importance of pre-season.
We're ready to let him walk out on a free last summer so we can take all this 'communicate about his role' bollock with a big pinch of salt I reckon. But he believes that ETH could have prevent this from happening if he would communicate with Ronaldo about his role.
Yes.
Keano: "I know for a fact he had 5 offers in the summer"
Wonder where he got that from?
Five times.Yes.

These “ex” players/pundits/teammates from United who seem to be going all out in support for Ronaldo are beginning to lose a bit of respect from me. Keane, scholes and Rio’s attempted defence of Ronaldos behaviour is becoming tiresome.Ronaldo wasn’t there in pre-season. 10Hag talked with him when he finally showed up.
This is such nonsense, only one to blame here is Ronaldo. How are supposed to plan for someone who is trying to leave and isn’t there?
He wasn’t fit enough to start some of the games he played. He is the only one responsible for this situation. He is 38 for feck’s sake.
Head down and try to contribute.
Keane, Rio etc defending Ronaldo when the whole (Manchester United, not Ronaldo) fanbase is not a bad idea. Keeps the back channel open, allows Ronaldo to have a way back in and start contributing productively. I'm sure this is what everyone wants. Even Ronaldo knows he's dug a hole too deep for even him to get out of unless he does miracles. Without the fan backing, he's a no body.
Doubt Ten Hag gives a single solitary shit what Rio Ferdinand and Roy Keane have to say about the situation. It's been made quite clear who the manager is and who makes the decisions. Ronaldo either falls in line and gets on with his job without being a childish prick, or he will never play. Anyone who cares for United should be fully supportive of the manager. Those defending Ronaldo and attempting to imply anyone at the club has done wrong or caused this situation can feck off
