Has definitely changed his tactical set-up these last few games to make us look slightly more solid. Yet, it took 35 games, and we still conceded 17 shots.

Dont think we are more solid at all to be honest. Arsenal didn't really try after they scored, and Newcastle+Brighton had the shots but couldnt finish their dinners.

Similar to the games against Luton and Villa where we got the wins but relied on the other team being diabolical in front of goal.

How he got 60 points this season from our performances should actually be treated as some form of minor miracle.

Winning today was the definition of putting lipstick on a pig. ETH has failed and should be clearing his desk next Sunday morning.

I agree Erik has firmly put himself as having managed the worst season of all managerial peers since SAF retied.

I don't think he's a bad manager but he's proven he's not cut out for the level United need to operate at.

Took him months to work out AWB can never play lb and if you have a make shift defence, play two holding players to protect them
Idiot manager who needs to leave

When you’ve got Varane on the bench, Casemiro playing out of position, Rashford on the bench, it all makes sense. Brilliant tactician. Sending Dalot on balls over the top!
That aged well!

Let's talk about the highlights of the Premier League season.

Remember those 20 minutes against Spurs?
When they almost beat Chelsea with 2 minutes to go?
Not getting pumped at Anfield?

I find it hilarious that long ball from Casemiro to Dalot actually did the trick.
That ball does seem to be an option quite a lot i've noticed.

It won't matter because EtH won't be here next season anyway but imagine Frimpong chasing those if we got him

If you want to torture yourself, just watch the City celebrations and simultaneously keep an eye on this thread as the Ten Hag inners come out in force :(

I hope winning that won’t soften the stance.

If United have shown us anything in the last decade it is how reactive they are to small wins. Every time Martial scores for example, he gets a new contract.

8th, minus GD, bottom of the CL group.. it’s been an awful season

We might win the FA Cup…

Officially oversaw our worst ever Premier League season. No shock but it's nice when things are made official, good job Erik.

He’s responsible for us going from 3rd to 8th in his second season with millions spent. You can’t excuse it as anything other than a failure.

All part of the plan for us to sweep up the league next season with no European football to distract us. Trust the process.

You can go and research it. No team has injuries as concentrated as we have all season. Feel free to show otherwise though.

Just checked looks like Newcastle have had more injuries to defenders this season resulting in them missing more games.

Sack him next Saturday even if we win which is highly unlikely. Absolutely disgraceful season.

Get rid of Heaton, AWB, Evans, Varane (going), Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Malacia, Casemiro, Eriksen, Amrabat (send him back), McTominay, Mount (injured too often), Rashford, Antony, DVB, Sancho, Pellestri, Martial (going).

Would absolutely love if we got rid of all that list.

I know, right

Bound to happen eventually. I mean, when you can send your LB on a ball over the top from a CF field position, do it!
Don't think we had a LB today, actually we didn't have a RB either, AWB was AWOLmost of the first half and much of the second, every time that Brighton LW got the ball there was nobody within 20 yards of him

Much of the first half we almost looked like we were playing 3 at the back, you'd think after the time he's been here that Amrabat would have learned by now you can't dawdle on the ball

This is the main issue, it's not just the results but the accumulation of terrible showings across multiple competitions.

The performances single handedly are the worst aspect. This has been the worst United team I can remember from a tactical standpoint. Something the manager in the last two or three games decided to change likely being signified by his superiors.

After spending 400 million the question should be can this manager win the league and the answer is a resounding no. United will not compete with Erik under any circumstances he doesn't have the capacity. Putting people in the hierarchy doesn't change the managers instructions to the players, it doesn't change the motivation of the team and it doesn't the adaptability to shift things when the tide points in another direction.

Bayern sniffing apparently. I know he apparently claims he's happy at Palace but if they are really interested he'd be insane to ignore them.

He's really impressed me.
According to the rumours Palace told to Bayern to pay 100 million for Glasner or to feck off:lol:

Can't vote until next Saturday night. If he wins that he saves his job for me and he gets a season under the new regime to turn the league form around.

I think that's the fairest way to judge him, lose the final and zero Europe loses you your job.
