We were never really in any trouble that game. We struggled in enough games, that game wasnt one of them. Also, when you take out the penalties you remove two potential chances to take a shot while in the box. Those are often high xG shots.
It wasnt a good performance by any means but that win was deserved. Could have lost it if we were unlucky but overall we did deserve the win. Overall it doesnt matter though. Even if that Everton game was a perfect performance, that run of games is still terrible.

That's not a good argument. All this could be done at the same time. It is far easier to get a manager in. The fact that SJR is on record saying we need a champions league finish this season for FFP is making them look worse. If you aren't willing to change results to get champions league don't say stuff like that in public. They were deserved penalties but they were both the result of two bits of good individual play from Garnacho. We didn't really play well enough to win that game on the evidence of the 90 minutes, and we haven't done for any of the other games that have happened in the last couple of months either.
You do know there's more to it than just his blaming of him? BTW, why wasn't our RB hauled off if the right side in general was bad?
