He’s absolutely done. Question is will it be Monday morning or the end of the season.
We cannot sell a player on Monday morning because the window is closed, he will have to wait until Summer.

Mourinho was much better than this guy.

He was living off his reputation as a tiki taka philosopher and Pep disciple.

His style of play is abysmal. Still has no defined recognisable style of play.

Yeah, 68 points by itself should be sack-worthy. But to reach 68 points we need to win the remaining 6 matches, something we have never done under EtH.

We are on course for a 59-point season. However, considering how shit we have recently been even for our standards (6 points in the last 7 matches), we will probably end with around 55 points.
Yet INEOS continue to dither. :wenger:

Interesting. I think the players only now have started to get fed up with him. I can't really blame them.

They've put up with his shit long enough. Sets them up in a kamikaze way, hangs them out to dry by expecting them to cover areas like a juiced up Mo Farah, then has the nerve to blame them. On this occasion I side with the players 100%. He's biting the hand that feeds him because the quality of the players is what's actually got us most of our wins, not great coaching or tactics. They done it despite the tactics.

Whatever you think of Ten Hag it’s unedifying to see a manager turned on by a player who he’s supported and nurtured at the first instance of any sort of criticism.

It speaks very poorly of his character.

I think it probably speaks more to the fact that the dressing room will be absolutely sick to death of rashford and his abysmal performances and special treatment

Why he is insisting on certain players is beyond me. It makes zero sense, and the same goes for his formation

If he was sacked in November like he should've been, we'd have gotten top 4.

A disgrace that this clown has been given more leeway than our own club legend Ole.

Shots conceded is the dumbest conversation going at the moment.

What about the cause, why do a large percentage of our players give the ball away so often?

How come nobody is brave enough to pass out from the back?

was only when Amad came on that we looked like we could keep and move the ball around in Bournemouths half.

Anyone remember the last 15 minutes v the dippers when we just kept booting it out from the back?

No. Let’s chimp on about shots conceded. We hear it on the telly so it must be smart heh?

ETH threw hin under the bus to save himself though.

Indeed. Arguably they have been too professional with him to continue to carry out whatever passes for his instructions.

We do have a cup final to play for, especially if Chelsea beat City. I would hope the players still stay on board for that at least.

It's pretty much over if he's lost Garnacho now. Can't believe Garnacho would lose it over those quotes though- there's barely anything there from what i recall of the interview. He just said the right side wasn't working in shape or discipline.
Who cares about the cup final. He'll live off the quarterfinal win.

I mean, it wasn’t really. It was a win that really could’ve gone either way. The xG for that game was 2.85 vs 1.78, so if you take out the penalties, we created an xG of around 1.2~ish.

We created fewer shots (15) against Everton’s (23), fewer big chances missed (0) against their (1). We also just about edged 1% more possession than Sean Dyche’s side. At home.

If it was a “deserved win” it sure was clutching to the edges of “deserved”.

We were never really in any trouble that game. We struggled in enough games, that game wasnt one of them. Also, when you take out the penalties you remove two potential chances to take a shot while in the box. Those are often high xG shots.

It wasnt a good performance by any means but that win was deserved. Could have lost it if we were unlucky but overall we did deserve the win. Overall it doesnt matter though. Even if that Everton game was a perfect performance, that run of games is still terrible.

Thing is, Garnacho has bailed him out a lot. He get's hauled off at half time, replaced with Amad who did nothing, whilst Rashford continues to be awful getting a full 90. He's then blamed by ETH in the presser. I can't say I don't feel for him.
Blamed? It's a player not having a good game being subbed at half-time, it's not a terrible insult, it's just one of those of things. I've seen Sir Alex sub Giggs at half time in matches. Being subbed isn't an insult and giving a very mild justification for the sub isn't either.

I've been critical of Rashford all season but i think he and Hojlund had a better half than Garnacho.

Even his brother is saying give Amad a chance
It's been obvious for a long while that Garnacho is exhausted, his brother probably sees it everyday and feels his brother needs a break. It has been too much responsibility for a player so young and inexperienced, we're starting to see the same with Mainoo.

ETH's system is the reason why, looks like you can't be bothered to admit that.

Almost like we have a manager responsible for answering those questions.

Shots/xg conceded was highlighted as a problem on here long before it started getting highlighted every game in the media.

They could have sacked him in Feb.

Yes they could have, but with the new people not on board and clear replacements not being around, I have no problem with it.

Doing things right long term is more important than maybe - maybe - getting CL football this season.

True the FA cup should keep Bruno and a few others onboard.

The Garnacho stuff (admittedly I’ve not seen the quotes) are just another example of the players being absolute babies and also a manager that lacks a bit of common sense.

Aye aye aye never a dull day at United.

Give us an example of how keeping a shit manager and missing out on the CL money is better for us in the long term

ETH threw hin under the bus to save himself though.

Fair enough he must have said something truly heinous… oh wait it was completely innocuous and Garnacho is just being a tit.

No matter who you are, you just don’t do daft shit like that as a player - it’s not even about Ten Hag but rather showing respect for the United manager, whoever he is.

Like his honesty. Acknowledges he wasn't playing well, then makes a great point about why force him to start then hook him off. He could've picked up an injury and then the usual suspects would be like SEE? EtH sO unLucKy!

Lads, I've found Erik's burner account.

That's not a good argument. All this could be done at the same time. It is far easier to get a manager in. The fact that SJR is on record saying we need a champions league finish this season for FFP is making them look worse. If you aren't willing to change results to get champions league don't say stuff like that in public. If he really wanted that finish he'd have sacked ETH like he did a few other members of staff at carrington.

I agree, sure there is some merit behind the stat worth discussing. But it’s taken on so much more importance than it ever warranted.

Sky Sports created the narrative and everyone has gobbled it up.

Because it’s so obvious every game we play win or lose that the opposition are getting chance after chance? Of course it should be discussed

And yet apparently it was just the comments that has made Garnacho like these tweets.

Yes, seems to be so. Doesnt change that your comment makes no sense at all though.

There are many, and i mean a lot, of reasons to sack ETH but winning a game and pretend that his only win in a long time was all down to penalties is unfair. That was a deserved win. Atleast come up with a good reason, like that 1-1 draw against Brentford. That game should have been the largest loss out of all those games for example. That could/should have been 5-0 to Brentford. The 2-0 Everton win was a normal result.
They were deserved penalties but they were both the result of two bits of good individual play from Garnacho. We didn't really play well enough to win that game on the evidence of the 90 minutes, and we haven't done for any of the other games that have happened in the last couple of months either.

You do know there's more to it than just his blaming of him? BTW, why wasn't our RB hauled off if the right side in general was bad? Garnacho's own brother said he's basically getting over played and then get's subbed off anyway after having a poor first half. If he's tired and struggling, don't play him.

That’s another managers name that’s been thrown into the mix now after out doing ETH. A joke really. If we’re gonna link every single manager with the job that we get demolished by that would be every single manager we come up against
