Another one who is who going to die by the Rashford sword. Wish these blokes would wise up with that waste of space.

I'm glad Ratcliffe was in attendance to witness what a joke of a team we are, managed by an absolutely hapless, clueless manager. You can blame the players for individual mistakes but collectively we are so far removed from what a man utd team should be that I cannot believe he's been allowed the luxury to see the season out! Had we taken a punt on an interim manager 5 games ago, we mightve been in with a good shout for CL quali but now Ineos have to suffer the consequences of not making that decision.

I don’t see how you can change everything about the structure and not change the most important bit. He is a dead man

It's the same as throwing parts of your car out when you don't have a mechanic or someone knowledgeable about cars present.

The whole point on overhauling every department is United don't have a fecking clue since SAF retired, it's as simple as that.

Dan Ashworth will work with Omar Berrada, Wilcox to get a clear handle on the club. There'll be a clear blueprint of how to work, and every single part of the club will be scrutinized from the likes of David Brailsford looking over every part of the club.

For now (AND) from a cost perspective you do not sack a manager who will cost 20m+ to get rid of. What problem is that going to solve really? These players have had 2-3 managers now the majority of them and continue to get away with it. Its the entire culture of the club, and thats why you cant just continue to sack managers.

If the footballing side after everyone is in place, including the board decide ETH goes and he does not fit in with the style of play United want to play he will be gone.

For now until the summer when everyone is in place, he will not go anywhere. This isn't a problem that's going to be solved in 3 months, getting a new manager in place and hiring someone new is not going to fix anything. The club needs a massive overhaul and first get the right people in place.

This chaos football where we concede 20 plus shots nearly every game is on Ten Hag. The way we're set up is absolutely mental.

I usually think most managers are good but just not good enough for the big time, but ETH might just be the first manager who I think is genuinely shit

Bad preseason planning, can't train tactics, can't manage injuries, can't manage the flow of games, doesn't have an eye for transfers....I mean seriously?

I think we showed character in todays game but we lack that confidence and winning mentality to see out games. And the manager plays a BIG role in fostering that spirit. He needs to be assured and players need to belief in his philosophy - but how can anyone have any faith in ETH given how we’ve been performing?

Never been more certain of a manager being sacked, even if we notch 3 wins straight after this

I don't think enough gets made about how negative a manager he is.

He could give Moyes a run for his money

The way we play isn’t sustainable and maybe after today people might start to get it. It’s fun to come back like that but you absolutely can’t play this way and win your games without individual brilliance bailing you out most times. There’s red flags all over the place and all you keep hearing about is injuries and the structure

Completely agree with this, it's a haphazard way to try and win games and as you say it's unsustainable. Players shit the bed on a constant basis but our tactical setup beggars belief it really does.

Anyone wanting him to stay next season is either a sadist or an ABU because no right thinking United fan should want him anywhere near the club.

I of course have no inside information, but it's possible after this game that they decide not to stick with ten Hag for another season. It was in many ways unlucky defeat but just another frustrating result in a season full of those. If we won, I'd have felt that they would decide to keep him. I know that's odd and it doesn't depend on one game..

Seriously just fecking sack him already.

Ratcliffe can't talk about ambition and then allow this useless manager to continue overseeing the worst football I've witnessed in over 3 decades following United

I knew this week of fixtures would be bad but even I didnt think it would be this bad. Worst yet to come.

I'll get behind sacking him if there are assurances that it doesn't stop with him and the coaching staff. I'm sick of the players being given clean slates.

To be fair the way Caicedo played it would have been a decent strategy.
Well he would suit playing for us in his current form too :)

We are absolutely hopeless right now. Everything is vertical, zero control of any game, getting overrun in midfield by any crap side.

When you concede 30+ shots a game, you don’t get to complain when you lose that. But I bet Eth will do just that. Blame everyone else but his own shite coaching and criminally awful set up.

If he is still here next season then INEOS haven't got a clue and we're even more fecked

Likely going to increase at the weekend. Really hoping to see an interim brought in soon (assuming the manager we want isn't prepared to join mid-season)

He’ll have to go, but I have no idea how anyone could have watched injured time and thought that Ten Hag is to blame

The players cannot do the fecking basics to see a game out. Completely shit the bed in possession, commit fouls in the box, shit the bed in possession again, don’t close down an open man from a set piece.

This isn’t FIFA. Ten Hag isn’t controlling the players. They are so fecking shit is painful.

I beg to differ. It is the coach responsibility tl drill those into the players both mentally and in actual play. Pep is successful as he is extremely micromanaging on this players in every step they do. That is their job. ETH failed to understand the issue and fix them. He just wait for individual moment of magic to save his day. You can't be lucky for every game and ultimately still boils down to proper coaching, structure and plan to ensure consistency performance and result. Something that I have not personally seen for the past 2 years that he took over, not even any sign of improvement.

Not before the Liverpool game anyway, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he got the boot on Monday depending on the result
Possibly, I’ve already eaten an Easter egg in a fit of rage

Because the season is over as of today. We won’t get CL and we won’t win the FA cup, there’s at least a chance we win the FA cup if we bring someone else in so take the risk with an interim.
Maybe. Who would you bring in for that though? This feels like LVG last season where if we win the FA cup he still gets sacked

Wow, what a revolutionary strategic instruction to give
What did he think the players would do otherwise - play pass and move with someone in blue?
Right
He instructed the players "win the game", but they didn't, so it's their fault and not his. Logic!

Our fanbase has a responsibility to ensure this charlatan doesn't go into next season as United manager if there's even a slither of a chance the ownership have been duped into thinking this isn't his fault. We've been a disgrace this season and the only solace I can take in these disastrous performances and results is that he might not be here next season.
