It's been 18 months and there is the Grand Canyon between defence and midfield. Why can't he fix this? Because he is a shit coach.

The inconsistency is killing us. We can play well in short bursts and look like title challengers, but then we'll go and play like relegation fodder. It's ridiculous

Great first thirty minutes or so then the players just collapse. How are we so unfit?

There is no way any United fan could want him to continue.

There is absolutely no sign of any coaching or tactics at all just relying on individuals doing something special
Typical. We’re losing and crap like this comes out. Losing by mistakes may I add. We’ve played them off the park first half

You guys are blind.

Great first half and we got totally fecked by Rashford and Bruno being idiots.

Play with a deep back four and high midfield and forwards is literally suicide but we keep doing it every single game.

Shit coach with a rabid fanbase that supports him.

Absolute clown and he hasn't got a clue

That Salah goal was hardly his fault was it

Ten Hag's mental decision to commit all midfielders forward and leave nobody in midfield continues to fail woefully.

Any manager deserves whatever they get for building a team around Bruno and Rashford.

Very good in forward areas in the first 30 mins.

But how anyone can watch our setup and not think that the manager’s tactics are suicidal is beyond me.

One pass beats our entire midfield.

We're not, the tactics just require the midfield to cover 90% of the pitch which is totally unsustainable. No wonder they're fecked.
It's not just the midfield though. I might be being harsh but I felt Rashford could have been more aggressive for the first goal but his workrate was fine until then. Garnacho is running like crazy but he looked knackered at the end of the half too.

Exactly. Us conceding chances that eventually lead to goals isn't a matter of bad luck or sloppy play as some make it out to be - it's an inherent feature of our tactical setup.

Exactly, and they have to come off at the 70th minute because they're ran into the ground, leaving us with zero outlet and letting the game dwindle to nothing. The tactics are totally unsustainable and will never work.

The build up has been a problem all game, all season even, mainly due how he positions his midfield IMO. They aren't set up for normal build up and control, they're set up for direct play and pushing high up. One mistake and you're gonna concede a big chance

You can fit an A380 between our forwards and defence, and yet the idiots in here will say its the players falling apart.

Some people literally get less out of watching this sport, than a dog does.

They’ve played on Thursday we’ve been off for a week, 20 minutes of ok football only get this Manager out of our club, he’s a complete clueless joke of a coach, any one could see the high press was coming, club must be completely reset in the summer, We have no legs in midfield to cover the pitch, and we can’t put that position on an 18 year old, he’s not a CDM, clearly more dangerous going forward.

They have 45 minutes to save their season, but would you trust these players?

Our coach is a specialist at losing leads and not knowing anything whatsoever about Game Management!

the way we play football is hilarious, we might as well be an NBA team

There were some warning signs before the goals where they cut through our midfield with one pass, the same thing we've seen all season, but for the most part the team came out with good energy and created chances which is what I've wanted. It's clear that this system while trying to play transition football is nonsensical and will never work to make us a serious team but at times it was better than it often has been.

Saying this after that first half is pure madness.

We have Mainoo and McTominay surging into the box and then also relying on them shielding our defense. You cannot be in two places at once. We are gambling and it paid off more often in the first 30 minutes and once Liverpool settled down they figured out how to play through us. Just reckless tactics especially once we've already gone a goal up.
