Even Fergie lost 6-1 to City at home. Dont worry, he will come good.

Or something like that.
It’s no longer a hammering thing anymore. It’s clear as day we have no discernible style of play. Owners stinking up the club while the manager is stinking up the football yet again. Seems I won’t see United come good again in my lifetime.

Shite transfers have cost him this year.

Relying on a 20 year old who's never scored more than 10 league goals in his career to lead the line for man utd. What kind of joker plans this? Feel sorry for Hojlund btw as he's been set up for failure
I actually think that one was more reasonable than some of the other signings, even if it's a lot to ask of a young striker who probably isn't ready. We weren't going to get an elite striker like Osimhen so it made sense to go for someone with the potential to be that rather than a ton on someone who is 2nd rate, especially given it was unlikely that we were going to be ready for a title challenge this season so building a team made sense.

The issue is with some of his other signings, he seems to have already lost faith in Mason Mount, Casemiro is the exact opposite of Hojlund in that he was a a win-now signing who now looks like he's struggling to keep up and Antony is just nowhere near good enough at this stage, even if you ignore the absolutely absurd price he cost.

City have better players, a better manager, better facilities, better owners and deeper pockets. We have to admit that we are the second best team in Manchester and we will remain there for a long long time

It’s all good and well saying sack him but who are we going to bring in? When we sacked Ole and brought in Ragnick we looked x10 worse

Everything else is bad luck, but Anthony and Mount are the things that will leave him hung out to dry.

Sick and tired of hearing this. There are managers in the league doing a better job than him right now.

I thought mainoo was our midfield lord and saviour who will make the system work!
There are those who think that yes. And he could well develop into a very good player for us. But he's not proven anything yet and this definitely wasn't the right moment to bring him on after a long time away.

Our passing is too slow to break down team let alone City. What is our tactic? We need to play at much higher tempo in PL. This is not Dutch league

How long does the club sit back and let this on go? It's not bad luck, it's bad management

Time to cut our losses, £400m spent and we look the worst we’ve ever been. It baffles me that pretty much all other teams around us can get a manager in and implement change almost instantly and United always need the “3-year process”. I’m convinced at this point that United have some complex whereby they have to do things difficult for no other reason than to (fail to) prove a point.

its not eths fault that we get this pen and have no fit left back left
It is EtH's fault we've spent 80m on a one-legged clown from Brazil and 55m on a Chelsea reject who are about 2 levels below challenging for a league title.

It is his fault we missed out on a very good, potentially WC, CB like Kim because we prioritised the aforementioned clowns.

It is his fault Rashford (and Bruno) were given the freedom of Old Trafford when they're constantly below par.

Let's not mention the tactical decisions like letting McTominay play today as well as at City's place last year and both times we've been dominated.

Amrabat wasn't doing well and was already on a yellow. What would you have him do? Bring on Mainoo instead?

The bench is thin obviously but I wouldn’t be bringing Mainoo on recovering from injury into this game. The bench being thin and a lack of quality at DM without Case is a managerial fault, the signing of Mount was just a bad decision and that’s not the players fault.

Really poor for 6 months now. March, April, May, August, September, October. Its unreal how we have become so poor in all areas of the pitch. He needs a good run between now and February to avoid the boot.

To be honest we weren't even that great before then, we were constantly grinding out results in the first half of the season and relying heavily moment of individual magic from garnacho and rashford.

The poor seasons by the likes of Liverpool, spurs, Chelsea flattered us last season and most of did assume we would have to up our game this season as most of those teams would not have as bad as a season again and that reality has caught up with the club this season

Yep. And it’s just shocking that he trots that lineup out yet AGAIN after how terrible we’ve looked recently.

Got that same baffled look from the bench that often signals the end times. Shame, I really thought we'd got it right with him

Miss the great man’s ferocity and leadership on the line. Why do we hire Managers who are so passive on the side line? Just like the team, there is no proactiveness.

Should have been sacked the moment he made Bruno captain instead of releasing him this summer. Although signing Antony for 100M is on par as far as awful decisions go. Refusing to bench Rashford. He just doesn’t get how football is played in the EPL. Should be let go immediately.

Nonsense. Especially with Ratcliffe coming in, love him or hate him, that can no longer be an excuse.

What has Ratcliffe achieved in football? I can't see anything from him that fills me with any hope

Just have to pray that our next manager recognizes you cannot build a team around Bruno and Rashford. Otherwise it'll be the same old shite football with zero control.

We could for once actually put the money and pinch a a good manager off another club during the season instead of A. Willing to write off yet another season by watching us go into free fall whilst waiting until the summer to make a move or B. Bring in an available and cheap out of depth manager for the rest season like we did with ole and ragnick

I don't care if we bring in Big Sam as interim. At least he can coach a proper defensive system and counter attack. For now, we can't attack and can't defend. Even midfield is embarrassing. What are we good at?

Already 8 points behind a top 4 who look like they play a different sport to us. Disastrous season and all the signs were there early on.

We need a manager who is strong enough to make big changes immediately. None of this give everyone a season to prove themselves nonsense

Boos for that change. Understandable, how is Rashford kept on instead of star boy Rashy?
