Horrendous stuff. But lining up with Dalot - Maguire - Evans - Lindelöf is just tragic. Absolutely tragic.

I'll take that as a yes since not backing your manager would make you spoiled and you're clearly very mature and above all that.
Take whatever you want, I am expecting you in the moaning train after one year of next manager again.

ETH looks spent sadly, there's just very little to cling onto at the moment on the pitch.

If we can sign two or three more of his ex players we’ll get a lot better, another 100 million should do the trick.

Like I said before, it's only a matter of time before he gets the chop. I suspect it's around Feb/march once it's confirmed top 4/5 won't be possible.

I don't mind the approach today. City only created as much as us in the first half.

It is about the execution of the approach and we should've had a goal if we got the execution right.

I'm fully behind him. Brought us our first trophy in half a decade and those games against Barcelona are the most I've enjoyed watching us play in years.

But every week it's getting harder to defend him. There's just been no improvement. I think he deserves some leeway wrt the injury crisis and the issues surrounding other absent players. But we need to start performing better.

He has to lay into the ref post game. feck the fine(s). He needs to let his nuts hang

Mctominay as a 10 is a new low. The worrying thing is people won’t see a problem with that because he’s had a few chances.

i thought ten haag would be the kind of big picture manager that we wanted

The difference in confidence between us - city look so confident, like we were under ferguson, whereas we cannot make five yard passes because we are shitting it.

When you are confident you are sharper and have more conviction and things come together. We had four counter attacks in the first 12 minutes that came to nothing, when really we should have scored one. We are not confident at all. Eriksen cannot make a five yard pass, yet city find a player with their passes.

Every single time we come up against pep we shit our pants.

I thought we did okay considering the circumstances. Once again, our uselessness on the transition and actually doing something once we get the opponent to turn over the ball has hampered us.

I honestly think this season might be the worst football we’ve played post-SAF.
It's not even questionable for me. This is the lowest it's been. We play like Stoke and the fans think it's acceptable. They'll blame the ref to make themselves feel better until the next time we play another big team and get schooled.

Worst than Moyes, LVG, Mourinho and Ole. I don't count Rangnick because he wasn't here long enough to change things.

Pinning his hopes on his £50m summer signing, let’s see how it works out.

It’s shocking honestly. What philosophy could this possibly be pointing to?

The lads on their high horse still backing him are absolutely ridiculous.

This is an appalling start to a season on every single level. The players are not fit, not happy, nor organized. The football is horrendous, the transfers have been abysmal and there are absolutely zero strengths/clearly visible assets to the side he has built.

It is a complete disaster and no amount of absurd excuses and feigning maturity can get him off the hook. Even the much heralded “injuries!!!!” excuse can be linked to his woeful physical preparation (now evident two seasons in a row)

He needs to be sacked immediately. Standards have slipped so quickly and so far and some semblance needs to be restored.

I refuse to believe there isn’t a manager out there who could set this team up to perform better than he can. Get him fecking gone.

Shite transfers have cost him this year.

Relying on a 20 year old who's never scored more than 10 league goals in his career to lead the line for man utd. What kind of joker plans this? Feel sorry for Hojlund btw as he's been set up for failure

Thanks for a decent season but I feel this will be his last. The results are one thing but the style of play is just not acceptable we’re going backwards

Ultimately blown 400m on shite

I'm done with him. Another game when we could play until midnight and not score.
Bummed at home by City.
Even the players to come back have been part of worse defeats that this.
From high hopes, his time is up.

Times nearly up, injuries indeed but this team is all wrong, no desire, style, direction, just plain shit.

He loves hoofball football. The style is much worse than the dour stuff from LvG and Moyes.

Pressure will really be on after Newcastle dump us out of the league cup
