Bailly and Jones lacked any understanding. Both below par
At first I thought he was a lump of coal that with the right coaching could be turned in to a diamond. But I am not so sure anymore. Either the coaching is not there, or he simply wasn’t the talent I thought![]()
I agree to some extent, but I think he also lacks awareness and has poor positioning and poor judgement. This was shown also last season, for example against Sevilla. Part of this could come from lacking confidence and from the constant rotation of CBs.He looks like he has raw talent to me and right now hes seriously lacking confidence

It's odd because he shows moments of amazing composure, knowing when to tackle strong or stand up, or when to drop a shoulder and give himself some space. And yet at others, he's complete panic stations.
I think Bailly is arguably the most natural skilled CB we have but his form and injury history is hugely worrying.
Hopefully he comes through it.
Nothing has changed. He's inconsistent as all hell. Capable of being great one week, terrible the next. Until he starts leaning significantly more towards the former he can't really be trusted.Disproved the hyperbole on here after one bad game vs Brighton.
He was good me thinks.

What?Terrible really.
So bad on the ball it's frightening.
Another blunder by the geeks on here and twitter who worshipped him when he came. Everyone with a brain new he was a horror player.
Honestly can't blame him for having a pop, no one else was. That shot he attempted was a fecking joke.
Another example of the extreme lack of care we take on the ball
He is quality to watch. And alongside better defensive partners, he would shine IMO.
We really need new full backs and a new partner for him. I don’t think Dalot, Shaw and Lindelöf are that bunch. We need experienced ones like Alderweireld and Sandro.
