Not sure why Siddle is in the team again? Now he'll probably have a great match but weird selection.

Root is an awful captain. He looks like he is 12. Let him focus on his batting and give the captaincy to Stokes as this team needs a complete rebuild. Broad and Anderson will be gone soon and Root is not the man (manchild) to lead this team forward.

I thought it was inside edge live tbh, but height on replay makes sense.

Also who's idea was it to have pads that sound so much like wood.

I just think if you take that long to make a decision (it had to have been at least 5 seconds) then you're guessing.

Was a wonderful decision from Dharmasena afterwards though.

No doubt Root will get a hundred here and we'll keep him in charge, even though he's an average captain and it's hampering his batting.

Joe Root fails to convert again.

Very good ball, but his struggles to get to 100 are going to blight his career. He's such a good player but unless he sorts this out he'll never be as good as he should be.

Root should not be captain after this series.

Let the guy make runs and be the best batsman on his team and take the pressure off him.

I'll be glad to not have to watch England play test cricket for a while.

We're really shit at it.

As I've been saying since the Ireland test, Bairstow should be dropped.

Lucky boy Sam Curran.

Got worked over a bit too easily there though, looks every bit a bowler who bats.

I reckon this has been as poor a day as any we've had in the Ashes so far. At least, the 67 all out was in difficult conditions.
