England vs Iceland

To have so little knowledge of football outside of England and still be so smug about their chances against a country like Germany. Is that not arrogance?

They were paid to play bullshit bingo and deliver some banter, so they were kinda forced to say something like that. That being said ignorance and arrogance often go hand in hand anyway.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Have we ever been this much of a laughing stock to the rest of the world for this past week?

Cant defend Woy with this one. Beaten by a tactic we (should have) seen coming a mile off. Starting Kane despite him being ineffective virtually all tournament...not to mention Sterling, whose decline pretty much mirrors his namesake currency at the moment.

Rashford and Vardy looked far, far more likely to make something happen. It was an absolute farce that the former was only brought on in the 85th minute - what the feck is the point of bringing him to the tournament if you arent going to use him? It is just like Walcott all those years back.

 I am sure some good literature or technological innovation has brought some form of joy in England in these past 50 years.

I had an ice cream this aft that verged on the respectable and only yesterday I found out Asda sells sturdy coat hangers. There's always a rainbow if you know where to look.

If it's any consolation, this will be forgotten much quicker than the referendum.

It probably isn't though, now I come to think of it. I'm not a therapist, okay?!

The single positive I am clinging onto is this line

Scenes.

And Brendan tried to help Roy:

I've always backed England, but seriously, after this, why do they bother fielding a team? It wasn't taken seriously as a contender before this, surely it's a complete joke now.

Rashford Showed in 5 minutes why he is already a better player than sterling, who cost £50m and somehow got picked to start this game.
City have hart and sterling in their squad at the moment. Both of them bottling cnuts. For how long though pep?

Watching the highlights on bbc

Just realised it looks like Gary Cahill celebrates when Iceland scored their 2nd goal

I don't like England, the flag or the anthem mate, check my recent political posts. I just laugh at you, you've had an issue with me for soooo long but Ireland or your Irish clubs can't compare to England, Rooney, Rashford or MUFC.
Well, don't like your country, your flag or your anthem then. I laugh at you and your present and future failures. In fact, I piss myself at them. Not bothered enough even enough to log in to know what they all those failings are though, because I could frankly care less. Piss stain.

If this does not shake up the FA, nothing will.

We've been humiliated twice in the last two tournaments. I think it's safe to say the fa won't be shaken up. If they had any bollocks at all hodgson would have got his p45 two years ago.
We'll probably get Southgate next..........

Sterling is shite.

The idea that because he's "only 21" he'll somehow get good eventually is absolutely hilarious. He's lightweight and predictable. Not something you'd expect of a 50m winger.

You really have to feel for the decent England fans who've spent a few months' pay to be there, having to witness that, though. :(

Also, who is this Ragnar Sigurdsson bloke? He was an absolute monster... and he's a bit scary looking too... though not as scary as that beardy bloke.

I just can't believe it, and you guys were so happy to face us instead of Portugal

I've always been a proud Icelandic, but this is something else, I don't know what to say.

Rio's little dig at Moyes...

Loved that...

Shearer is livid... rightly so.

Basically these guys have to tow the company line the whole time. This is one of the first times I've actually seen emotion. Proper unbridled emotion. The FA could do a lit worse than have some passionate ex players at the helm. Don't fancy Gareth 'company man'Southgate. Far too groomed in the FA mould. Like the Country, we ned to use this as a springboard for real change.

Well don't be modest

It's your moment. You should be gloating like a mother fecker
