England in India 2021

England have done alright here the last few overs. I thought India were nailed on for 230 at one point.

Bound to chuck it away now I've said that.

England need an upgrade on Jordan, who has never done well in India and the ipl..

I think this series has put his place in doubt. I'd be surprised if he turned up for the WC later this year.

Yeah, he's firmly in the Dernbach school of death bowlers who get absolutely taken apart at the death.

feck knows how you bowl a length ball on the pads as your first ball in the 19th over.

I don't care how but SKY should play white ball cricket. Too good a player to sit out

India have batted incredibly, England have bowled trash and a lot of stuff has gone for the batsmen . Unlikely to get all 3 happening again

I don't think England have bowled that awfully. India got off to a flier, but were hitting good balls for four and six. England were a bit predictable and a bit too slow to take pace off, which India will do better at, but it's a completely different pitch to the first few matches.

Scoreboard pressure will play a part, but it's not impossible England chase this if we get off to a good start.

I know the pitch has been great & India have actually hit a lot of good balls but there's been a lot of loose balls as well. Yorkers are completely out of fashion it seems . I would have also liked more bowling on one side and of course more cutters . It might not have made a huge difference but it just felt that they kept running in and bowling length

Brilliant batting display. England need to produce something special today with the bat if they are to win this.

If india just keep the pace off, then England's top batters could have a field day and still not reach the set target

Yeah, but you're never going to be perfect and when batsmen hit good balls for four and six it's bound to put pressure on the bowling team.

I don't think England bowled well by any sense of the imagination, but I think it's more a tale of brilliance with the bat.

I used to get out to that shot playing beach Cricket with my cousins if i'd been in to long.

To be fair to Roy they need to be hyper-aggressive here instead of trying to play their way in. Malan has started slowly.

Edit: looks to be going for it now though!

Rashid's first over went for 3, I think. You can catch up, but it's scoreboard pressure forcing batsmen to think they can't making them do daft things.
