England in India 2021

Kumar has probably won this for India.

3 overs for 9 runs and two wickets.

Kohli is a bit of a twat but I enjoy the drama of it.

Clearly how he gets himself going and I think it adds to the theatre.

See even though England hit really well here there was better planning from India in terms of making them hit to certain areas & taking pace off . Much easier to control this way

Malan's hit 18 off 13 since bringing up his half century and got out with a horrible hack.

India have bowled well to him, but it's desperately poor batting.

That's extremely harsh.

Good knock, short of a great knock because of the lack of kicking on.

Fizzled out disappointingly but can happen very easily with a ridiculous target like that.

Nah, it's the nature of T20 cricket (obviously I meant desperately poor since the 50). You can't afford to go back in to your shell and start wasting balls. It's still a good knock, but you need to keep going when you're in.

Bhuvi pretty much won the match for India, brilliant bowling. Killed the game after that over

England have been outplayed here ,it's been a weird series because they have had the best of conditions and made a mess of it . Harsh to be too critical because they were very close to winning the series last game

It’s been a good prep series for the wc. England should’ve experimented a bit more.

I think we've been a tad disappointing but should be better for it.

Bumrah for Natarajan, and Jadeja for Chahar. Shardul/batsman depending on conditions. Is that India's best lienup?

Definitely but I said before the series that it's a strange series because a lot of these players are coming in with very little cricket behind them . Morgan for example has played no cricket for months and then he barely got to bat in the two wins. Having to then come in and hit in the end of these last 2 games is hard . England have had an issue with their bowling all the way through and that is going to be the biggest concern

India with Kishan, SKY, Bumrah and Jadeja in look a very formidable side. Been a good series from them. If Kishan and SKY solve the issue of slow starts I think they're heavy favourites.

England have a fair few issues I think. Definitely need to find a bowler and not sure of the point of Curran bowling one over a game.

Spin is still an issue. Not sure how we are going to sort that out.

I wouldn’t be averse to bringing Ashwin back in. He is in top form and the World Cup is not many months away.

Rahul/Kishan, Rohit, Kohli, Surya, Pant, Pandya, Jadeja, Ashwin, Sundar/Shami, Bhuvi, Bumrah.

This would be my team.

It's bonkers imo that he is not in , Kohli was asked pre series and he said that Ashwin can't come in because Sundar is there

Morgan & team management are to be blamed too for completely misusing Curran. He has no real role and if Morgan doesn't trust him then they shouldn't pick him . Chris silverwood is offering very little as the teams under him continue to make weird decisions
