England Cricket Summer 17 - South Africa & West Indies

Anything above 250 looks difficult on this pitch, slow and low now. England definitely had the heavy roller on this morning.

England might regret not batting quicker in those 50 overs yesterday.

Conversely, think how much worse a position they would be in had they gone for it on a pitch that really was not much better yesterday rather than playing carefully.

Be over tonight, if batting doesn't start to look rather easier when England have the ball in hand.

Agree with this. England's tactics were right.

They're in a bit of a pickle right now, though. I'd love to see them wrapped up for another 15-20 and SA make a fist of the chase.

Shame there's no Du Plessis.

Still possible to get a 350 lead from this if Bairstow plays well, as Wood is no mug with the bat.

Very important runs from Wood. feck off back to the pavillion now..

I think batting QDK at #7 is one of the worst tactical things I've seen in cricket.

He is the most accomplished young player I have seen in a very long time. They need to take the gloves off him and stick him in at #5 with a view to taking 3 or 4 eventually.

If they think Kuhn is just 1 player away from the 11, they should just slot him in somewhere in the middle order and give him the gloves.

I personally think it's a game winning total for England.
