Might be the family not wanting/ ready for it to be announced yet, that’s if they have identified itAnyone know why it's taking so long go identify who it is?

@paulscholes18 @UncleBob I suppose those are the logical answers, but wasn't the plane found 4/5 days again now? Surely they'd have told the family on day one (seeing as they paid to resume the search?).
I'm leaning to PS18 reasoning that it might not be identifiable yet which is sad.
Hope the search continues for the pilots body otherwise we’d be hearing conspiracy theories forever.
Search where, it's a big ocean. My guess is he'll end up on a beach
What do you mean exactly? Not that it makes a difference now, but you can only hope that it was over before he was fully aware of what was happening.
RIP Sala
What do you mean exactly?
From my understanding the body stayed in the plane so chances are that he died on impact in no time. Awful, but probably nicer than escaping the plane and trying to fight your way out in those conditions and freezing then drowning whilst trying to stay afloat. Not that it makes a difference now, but you can only hope that it was over before he was fully aware of what was happening.
This. Sounds bad but seriously hope it was over on impact, the thought of him potentially drowning while trapped is the worst possible thingIf his body was still in the plane I think it's pretty likely he will have died or been knocked out on impact.
Thought of being trapped in the plane while it sinks and then drowning is very grim.
As horrible as it sounds, I’m glad they’ve found the body.
Will hopefully help the family get some closure.
What do you mean search where?
If the pilot was found only, do you think they would have ended the search for Sala? No chance. His family deserves some closure too and same level of respect as they lost somebody too.
At least 1 family is going to have some closure, hopefully they find the 2nd body
Closure is overrated.
Condolences to the family and all, and obviously this isn't something I woulr directly to someone grieving. But what difference does seeing the body make? Did anyone seriously have hope that the poor bloke didn't actually die, and was on some frigid island in the Channel?

I think the idea is that if you're so overcome with grief there'll always be a small part of you irrationally, emotionally clinging on to the possibility. The benefit of closure is breaking that unhealthy tether, theoretically.
