Anyone tried the full cheese dual Cross Nagis with instant bleed? Absolutely absurdly broken.
I went through 3/4 of the game without the flask of wonderous physick 
I'm a boring bitch. I haven't changed my armour in about 60 hours and have used the Bloodfang since I got it with zero magic.
NG+ is where I'll experiment.
Fire Giant is a bit of a cnut.
I haven't even seen the Fire Giant or their arena or know their attacks but I've read so many people saying "Feck the Fire Giant."

It's rivers of blood. Arcane build. You can find them online quite easily.
I also used a pickled turtles neck before going in as it boosts stamina recovery so I could attack more and burn her down quicker.
Rivers of blood is legitimately broken for most of the game.
I envy everyone Who had mimic tear on ng. Makes most bosses easy. I didnt use ashes at All in my first playthrough.
I tried fecking everything, my 2nd save file is just broken and won't load anymore 28 hours of progress down the drain. Grmbl.
Are you on PC or console? Don't do anything too rash there may be a fix
Ps4. Nah, I just went back to my first character and respecced, but I prefer starting fresh.
I do this but with gargoyles blood twin blades + 24 (137 bleed buildup on each), Jumping attacks get 4 hits. Pop the same on good old mimic tear and you can get up to 8 hits if he jumps too or 6 if he doesn't. Literally eats enemies like they are nothing on ng+ haven't had a boss battle last over 1 minute.
I still think and stand by the my opinion most people who love this game cheese the uber weapons/ashes/summons. Because they are there and it would be tedious without them.
I want to hear from those trying to play this as a DS1/BB/DS3 legend playing this game in the spirit of what made the genre in the first place...come at me and tell me why this is up there as the best souls game.

Anyone know a discord channel or something that allows trading and muling? It's common with the other souls games but the major discord channels for this have banned it.
Malenia Blade of Miquella was defeated last night. Goddamn that was brutal. The hardest boss in the game so far, that's for sure. I was losing my mind!
Beat Fire Giant on my second attempt. Definitely didn't stack up to the difficulty hype I read online.

Yes, there are items that cleanse the Rot and build up.

Boluses or Flame Cleanse Me is the only way I think.

Well... shit. I think I'll just go with run and gun... but who thought this would be a fun place to add in? It's the same in other souls games, the swamp areas are not fun, just tedious!
Yeah I beat him on 3rd try. Wasn't too bad. Giants are always the same tactic. Walk behind him, smack his ankles, move away from his flames and get your shield out for the random rolls he does. Doing solo is always much more difficult than with a summon of course. The Tiche summon for me helps push through a lot.
There are platforms that make a path for you (kind of). And there is a boss in there somewhere too in that lake
Faith/lightning builds are cool. I also want to try a fire/dragon mage build. Right now I'm using blasphemous blade (rykard remembrance greatsword) and dual wield Lordsworn straight swords to put my own ashes on them, and then a seal to do faith spells. Loads of fun.

I wouldn't be able to remember where to get it in a million years, but I think it's quite early on. It does help, just not that huge a change but enough to get you through combined with running.
Also remember never to roll in poison/rot as it sticks to you and continues the build up.
Discovered the Subterranean Shunning Grounds beneath the capital. The size of this game continues to blow my mind.
