Bet he's gone out to lunch now. Scoffing some cheddar sandwich and laughing to himself.
Yeah only thing is the greatest manager ever was in charge of that squad and he's gone. Any other manager with that squad could have ended up fourth.
I would post authors of these words but i want to spare them the embarrassment.
these are not my words, just quotes .
You should support a club that matches the high standards you set. One thing, before you ditch us, you should get better sources than the print media.
so you're not disappointed with the club this summer?
the fabregas stories were confirmed by the club. the herrera offer confirmed and rejected by bilbao. de rossi, granted, may have been bollocks.
The most worrying thing about today is that we cant even offload Bebe to some championship outfit.
Fabregas showed a willingness to move, we pursued it, he stayed. I would have liked him but I presume they did what they could.
We put in low bids for players we still might sign. Honestly I'm pretty neutral on the whole thing at the moment.
By saying he wants to stay at Barcelona?
That was the staying bit, if only you had the intelligence to read the whole sentence.
Well I don't so I need extra explanation.
What do you want explained exactly? The thrust of my post was that I am not getting my knickers is a twist over trying to sign Fabregas but not actually doing so.
I've read on Caf that Fabregas wanted move to United, that our bids were encouraged by agent etc., yet I don't see where does that come from?
From day one it was clear we don't stand chance in landing Fabregas, think it was just big weaste of time by Moyes and Woodwark, who, in my opinion, both showed naive and clueless when it comes to transfer dealings on this level.
We have great squad, but with Scholes gone, Fletcher being sick and Anderson being Anderson postion of CM was our only department that need strenghtening.
And Woodwark (alongside with Moyes) spent summer chasing player that didn't want to come here in the first place, really great.
Almost certainly sat in his office in London, possibly picking his nose.Where in the world of feck is Woody?
Well obviously you know more that all the well paid staff at the club.
Are you calling him Woodwark on purpose?

Just from commercial deal I'm sure we could buy a marquee signing
Half the European club chairman's hate him already...lets hope he doesn't frighten off Bilbao's chairman too.
Don't judge him, before 11 pm !
He's been in this job a while now, and our transfer policy this summer is nothing short of bizarre. It's hardly a knee-jerk to judge him when there's less than 9 hours of the window left.

A few days ago I said Ed was going to be a hero come Tuesday morning, I didn't realise it would be at Anfield.
Seeing as Moyes has "The Tactician" next to his name, can a mod change this to "Edward Woodward - The Transfer Strategist"
That will help people know where to let off steam tonight rather than do it in every single thread.
