Why the feck did we choose this incompetent cnut in the first place?
What if he's like a city or Liverpool fan and he's fecking with us on purpose. Would be in line with what he's done so far this summer. Complete embarassment. We've become a laughing stock.

Why? Don't you think that he is at-least partly to be blamed off. Our interest on Herrera came only 4 days before the deadline, while we were chasing Fabregas for a month.

Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.
"Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media have published pictures of men in black suits - supposedly the United "representatives" - coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases.
"All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days."
 
I don't remember the last time we looked so stupid in the transfer window. We're a laughing stock for the world to see. We could've hired the actor Edward Woodward and looked less stupid.
 
It appears as though Edward might be in over his head with this whole CEO thing.

Also, I don't know which one of you it was that edited his wikipedia page, but it is magnificent.

If this Herrera deal doesn't happen, heads need to roll. Don't know if it's just Woody to blame, but we need to get rid of whoever messed things up so this doesn't happen again.

Its not happening. Feel for Herrera he wanted to join us and was even sacrificing wages to make it happen. fecking shambles and a disgrace.

i've not defended the farce of the fabregas bid mate - the complete opposite in this thread (i think) earlier in the day.

surely it's down to the chief executive to sort these deals out, and realise when it's not going to happen. i'd have thought the manager provides the players he wants, and has little/nothing to do with the negotiations.

this summer has been an absolute fecking nightmare.
