Two consecutive managers who don't fancy him is quite telling I think.

The one thing I do agree with is that the club should let the guy go if he's not in the plans for the future instead of him wasting his time here.

This is truly mind boggling. Any midfielder who can’t get into our current midfield must be sold right? With the bar as low as it is?

Even if Fred and McTominay are maestros in training, haven’t we watched enough games to realize what they bring to actual games?

I don't know but you are making it sound like we're keeping a young Iniesta in wraps for the next manager
Not exactly a surprise. Ten Hag rates Donny highly and has been highly critical of our treatment of him. But I don't think Donny would have access to that kind of information, if it is indeed true. Unless Hag himself phoned him or something.

He’s not being sold because nobody wants to buy.
Then we should him loan him out in an effort to raise to raise his value.

@Terranova made a great point. You don't want a guy like Donny being a fringe squad player. But rather a hungry young kid (like Rashford in the LVG days) or an experienced veteran happy to not play often (Matic, Mata?).

Whether he has been great or not, this treatment is absolutely ridiculous.

This is genuinely becoming one of the most bizarre things i've seen at the club. You would think we have prime Scholes-Zidane as a midfield duo, so it's justified, but we have Fred and McTominay and you get back down to earth. I mean SAF gave Bebe more starts and I'd hardly have considered him a footballer.
The thread where Bebe was announced as a signing was probably the greatest thing I've seen on here

Man Utd 1:0 Aston Villa
Manages to hide more than McT, which takes some doing.

Made that one run into the box where the ball got intercepted, then noped the feck outta the game.

Won the ball more times than the rest of the midfield and kept it short and simple, which is more than the rest of out midfielders did. But thats not enough apparently

Let's put it this way: He doesn't get minutes for the same reasons your U23 players don't get minutes.

I wanted him to get his chance for so long but even I must admit now, he just doesn't look good when he comes on.

Fresh on the pitch and still looked like one of the slowest out there.

Elanga had more impact than this "Dutch International". Why was he not sold last summer again?

He would be an idiot staying for at least another half year, rotting away on the bench. He's simply gotten worse since leaving Ajax which can be an career ending turn at his age

Watford away is the one game where he actually looked as if could be a difference maker. He has had a couple of other adequate performances but nothing that really convinced (me) that he was a Utd player to build around.

Clearly the coaches don't see him as a deep midfielder, the argument should be getting a chance ahead of Bruno with Bruno so poor recently.

Elanga made a much bigger impact than Van de Beek. Looks lost. Maybe in different circumstances he'd be a different. He doesn't look like the solution to any of our problems though.

Thought he looked decent when he came on. He had a good work rate, won a few balls in dangerous positions, and his passing was good.

Looked decent when subbed on, but we were in full protect-the-lead mode and not pushing forward hard in attack.
