Do you follow American politics like that? The cash floating in the swamp? Why what?
I'm not smart enough to argue the severity of these charges, they seem pretty damning at face value. A podcast I listen to has downplayed the significance of some of these though, and I trust their opinion. Maybe I'm just numb to it all.I don't know who the other monsters in the swamp might be, but the "dislike" he is getting I think it's mainly because:
-He broke the law paying hush money to a pornstar from funds that were supposed to be for campaigning.
-He defrauded his investors and shareholders by lying about the value of his companies, assets and brands, while at the same time giving the IRS considerably lower numbers in order to evade taxes.
-He tried to overturn the results of an election by pressuring US officials to break the law in order to either invalidate valid votes against him or by "finding" more votes in his favour.
-He commited treason by orchestrating a coup, mobilizing a mob against the capitol in order to attack US elected officials and seize power.
-He stole and hid official classified documents during and after his tenure, refusing to return them even after being caught and reportedly (and on tape) divulging critically classified information to either friends, allies and foreign officials that are potential enemies of the state.

There’s some dubious reporting on some of those, but your question largely makes sense.Do you follow American politics like that? The cash floating in the swamp?

How could you ever rationally become a Trump supporter. Even when trying to keep an open mind, I cannot name a single positive thing about Donald Trump. Nothing. He is an endless list of all the shite charactaristics a human being can have. If you convert him into a Crusader Kings 3 character the list of negative traits on his personality card would barely fit the screen. You know what? Maybe I've become one without even realising it.

I think apologist is the word I was looking for. "Supporter" implies the wrong thing about my thoughts on him.How could you ever rationally become a Trump supporter. Other "swamp monsters" and whataboutery aside, what is the positive side of Trump? I suppose his utter incompetence makes him less harmful?
The Trump trial of it all has tinges of a panacea being administered. Folks are acting like he is some big hurdle to a greater good being done. There swamp is just getting rid of an unlikeable monster at best. What exactly do you mean with red herring here?

The totality of them.Of which trial are you speaking?
91 felony indictments isn’t anything to sneeze at for a lay person or an ex-president.The totality of them.

He a sloppy individual. Have to move smarter in the swamp.91 felony indictments isn’t anything to sneeze at for a lay person or an ex-president.
I'm not that passionate about this topic folks. I'm not here to die on some Trump defence. I'm an apologist at best, and not his finest. Make what you will of what I've said, maybe I'll have the energy another day to go further.Okay, but more specifically? What does "tinges of a panacea" mean? Who are the people responsible who are trying to get rid of him?

You missed out all the bankruptcies that enabled him to avoid paying a big chunk of that debtDo not forget his pre-Office CV accomplishments.
-Crushed small businesses by refusing to pay agreed sums, often lowballing or claiming services not rendered to his desire, then tying said businesses in expensive litigation which nearly all small shops can't afford and he knew it.
-A decorated history of racism. https://www.vox.com/2016/7/25/12270880/donald-trump-racist-racism-history
-He bought a USFL franchise in the earlys 80s after being denied by NFL owners of joining their exclusive club, and soon pushed forward with moving the league to directly rival the NFL via a fall-winter season versus continuing a spring season which all owners wanted to remain for the short-term. His ego was so hell-bent to get one over those NFL guys that he ultimately failed in his attempts and aided in the league folding (not only because of his actions, the league was massively overspending against revenues). In the late 80s, he was rumored to be courting an NFL franchise again, rumors of Dallas and New England, but he was never going to join that exclusive NFL owner's circle and it still ate at him. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/03/1988-the-year-donald-lost-his-mind-213721/
-His ego drove him to overpay for everything in the 80s which drew what he truly sought - public noteriety and elite acceptance. It also saddled him with massive debt that would make the Glazers blush.
-John Barron and John Miller.

It seems like a very labored way to say Trump is just one bad actor out of many.
Probably best not to take seriously someone constantly using the term "Swamp Monster".
Kudos to you for at least attempting engagement & not just doing a drive by.

If he was black and stole a snickers it'd be 3 years in Rikers or shot dead with his hands up. What you just laid out is 25 minimum for any one of us.I don't know who the other monsters in the swamp might be, but the "dislike" he is getting I think it's mainly because:

I struggle with articulation. I always forget that most folks on the internet can't read my mind and see between the lines. I won't attempt to clear up what I meant (I don't think I could do it well enough.) One person on here seemed to get my original point and I'll take that. What exactly does this mean ?
I've definitely come to the realisation that he's bad at politics on a certain level. The people love him but he doesn't have the guile of others. Look at Cheney and the Clintons, those guys know which buttons to push.Sloppy? Move smarter?
It was inevitable we would see another one like you, y’all tend to come in cycles. Kudos to you for at least attempting engagement & not just doing a drive by.
